Highest recommendationThis small hotel far exceeded our expectations. The owners went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. They assisted us with sightseeing opportunities, got bus schedules for us, followed up on on requests. The room was comfortable and beautifully presented. Convenient to West and North Shore. Quiet.

Five StarIt did warn at the time of booking that the room was small but as it was the only room left we went ahead and booked it anyway. They was nothing to worry about the room was more than big enough for our needs and it was beautifully fitted out to a very high standard. Would have no hesitation in recomending this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is a real gem! Whether travelling alone as in my case or in a party, you can be assured of a warm welcome from Joni and Mark. My room was fantastic, with a huge sleigh bed which was soooooo comfortable. The one night stay was finished off with a great breakfast to help prepare for a long working day. I will definately return, this time with my wife for a longer stay.

Welsh heavenI chose this hotel based mainly on guest reviews, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. My room was decorated and furnished to an exceptional standard. The shower was the best I've experienced. Nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was superb , and no detail was overlooked. this small friendly hotel should be rated 5 star!

Best bed ever!After reading all the positive reviews we had high expectations when we arrived at The Clontarf and I very pleased to say we weren't disappointed. The owners took great pride in ensuring that our 1 night stay was as comfortable as possible. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and offered complimentary refreshments in the lounge before being shown to our room on the second floor. It was worth the climb up the stairs as the bedroom and en suite were very luxurious. A huge 6ft leather remote controlled bed with the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on awaited us. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of menu and set us up for the rest of the day. We will definitely return as soon as we get the opportunity to visit north wales again.

This was a fantastic experience. Nothing is too much trouble for Joni or Mark. We were made to feel so welcome during our stay and the room we had was brilliant. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious and kept us going all day. It really is a hidden gem and we are looking forward to going back soon. Thank you both for a brilliant time and for telling us about the fantastic sunset from the beach. We have some wonderful photos now.

We had a great stay. The proprietors made us very welcome from the moment we arrived and gave us lots of local information. The room was well furnished with modern fittings and very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice.Good value for money -- and we will certainly stay there again if we return to Llandudno. If you are looking for a comfortable and friendly hotel then look no further!!

The Clontarf Hotel, Llandudno We decided to go away at the last minute and the room at the Clontarf Hotel, Llandudno was real value for money. The room was better than we hoped for and we were made to feel very welcome. The information and all the extra touches provided the perfect break. We have stayed in many hotels and we would be glad to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Home from Home!!!Had a weekend break away from the kids! On arrival greeted by Mark was made to feel at home straight away. The room was spotless with great bed and lovely en suite. View from room was overlooking the Great Orme. If you like walking the Orme is straight outside the front door or alternatively the beach is to the left.Breakfast superb all you could ask for, full english with various other alternatives to choose from.Hosts were positively friendly and really approachable, great stay!!

Fantastic hotel, couldn't fault it!As soon as we arrived here we were greeted in a warm and friendly manner, the owners were helpful and made us feel at home straight away. The room in the hotel was clean and well decorated and the whirlpool bath went down a treat! We didn't eat at the hotel in the evenings as we opted for fish and chips instead but the breakfast we sampled was superb. Hopefully we'll go back to Llandudno in a year or 2 as it was a great midweek break and would definitely stay here again.

A very lovely hotel, very warm welcome, mark and joni were lovely, loads of knowledge of the area and very happy to share with you. The hotel was very modern with an amazing friendly atmosphere. Excellent place to stay.Could not fault this excellent family run hotel. The owners made you feel most wecome from the moment you stepped through the front door! The room we stayed in (No 9) was comfortable and had good views of the Great Orme. Highly recommended, would stay again.
