I enjoyed the hotel. Just a small advice - do not forget to take with you a swimming trunks - hotel swimming is very nice. About some flaws - it is located in 3 mile away from downtown - but the central avenue by which one can get from hotel to downtown is very nice - so maybe the location is even an advantage since it makes you see places. Wi-Fi is free it is good but breakfast is not included -so the real rooms price is $10 more.

The hotel location was ideal. Far enough off Central Avenue to avoid excessive noise. Upon arrival the room had been upgraded, a very nice suprise. The staff was very informative regarding the decor(art work), history of the hotel and available for further information. The room was fantastic. The decor very appealing, the bed was extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay again.

The hotel room was awful. Purple carpet, zebra stripped bed covering, paint peeling off the walls. Very scarry and I have stayed in some "not so good" places before. I checked out and went down the street to a much nicer place for only * more a night. I would never stay there again. I do not recommend for the business traveler (male or especially female).

I was routed to the Clarendon via the airlines after weather delays. Although I wasn't happy about having to spend an extra night away this place was a nice surprise! Although it was an older building it seems to have been maintained well and is wonderfully decorated with lots of awesome art throughout the lobby and in the rooms. The staff was friendly & helpful. A large, colorful, comfortable room with a king size bed and a plasma TV on the wall awaited, as well as some soothing, peaceful music playing to greet me as I entered. I agree with the need to improve the breakfast menu and also had trouble with the shower knob (could we have been in the same room?). I had to pay for a taxi from the airport but they did provide shuttle service in the morning when I left. Otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay and I would gladly go there again.

Odd mix of decor, trying hard to be design-y. Air conditioning was intermittent during my 5 day stay, and not very cool when it worked. Staff said it was having problems, being worked on, service was on the way, etc. Don't go in summer until they have a new a/c system. Staff was very nice and professional, good beds, nice TV. Cont b-fast needs work. 2 stars because of a/c problems in summer. Otherwise it's a 3.

We were pleasently surprised to get this hotel room for a great price. It was similar to other discounted hotels for the same price.42"" Plasma LG DVR TV, fluffy feather beds and pillows. Very chic. Needs improvements: cont. bkft, the shower nob didn't work properly), limited selection of teas. Nice overall, would stay at again.
