The location is great, just 3 min walk from MTR Yumatei station, and near by the one of the biggest main road in HK - Nathan road. The room is very clean and comfortable, the bed isn't too soft so I can have a fully rest after a whole traveling daylife.Compare with its price,it is a valuable choice.I will recommend this hotel for my friends.

It was a excellent hotel with a great location. Plenty of eateries nearby and easily accessible to their public transport. Their staffs are all great and helpful.

Excellent for the business traveler. Having lived as an expat in Hong Kong, and stayed at the budget up to the elite hotels in Hong Kong previously, I can heartily recommend the YMCA International house. Convenient to transportation, good staff and comfortable rooms. No cause for complaint!

We stayed in this hotel. We loved the location, the price and of course the hotel staff. Would definitely stay here next year - Feb 2008. At this time I am already planning our trip.

I love Hong Kong. Although it's crowded, it's an incredibly efficient and well planned city with amazing food wherever you go. The CityView (YMCA) was a great value. It was in a central location and only a block from the MTR. The first night we had one of the older rooms, which we were not pleased with. However, the second night we were transferred to a room in the newly renovated tower, and this was excellent. Clean, nice decor, and spacious for Hong Kong. Service was very attentive.

The Cityview is located in an excellent location if you want to go to the 3 markets, Ladies, Temple and Jade. It is also very accessible to the Star Ferry & Hong Kong City. Just catch the 7 bus and it takes you right to the ferry. Once you cross over to Hong Kong you can catch the 6 or 6e buses to Stanley Park. I recommend both. Each gives you a different view. We really loved the staff at the Cityview, Ben and everyone was really great. The ladies at the front desk allowed us to check in early even though we arrived at 10:00 am and check in time was 2:00 pm. They also gave us a free upgrade. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to save some dollars and have a great place to stay. We were also very happy with the dinner buffet. Again, for us, this was a great hotel, we definitely will stay here again. Jay & Loretta from Oregon

Great location. The renovated tower wing is nice.

We chose this place because of location for an event we were attending. Did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, but the room was fine. Good beds - though they moved us into a room with separate beds instead of a single larger bed and called it an upgrade. All of the usual amenities were nice. Nothing lavish but a solid good. The staff tried to be helpful but while they all spoke some English there was some difficulty getting directions. But they all tried very hard. Overall, we thought it was a good bargain - much better than what our friends were paying for their rooms in the same area.

We just stayed for two days but it was very pleasant and I can highly recommend this hotel. We booked into a Premier room but we were upgraded to an executive sweet on arrival, very pleased. The room was bigger than we expected for HK and was very clean and modern. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us on our way when we were running late to get to the airport! The location is great due to the proximity of the MTR station.

Very friendly personnel. Aiways at our service. They said we got an upgrate, but we don,t know if that was true. Anyway a very good experience. I can recomment this hotel

Stayed five nights at The Cityview in early October. While the room was not huge it was clean and comfortable. The only defect in the room was the door covering the small refrigerator. Great location as it was an easy walk to Tsim Sha Tsui and the Star Ferry. There's also an MTR station around the corner and the hotel is served by the Airport Express Shuttle (Route K-6). Would stay at the Cityview on my next visit.

We were very happy with the price/value of the Cityview Hong Kong. We checked in late and were upgraded from a superior to a premium room which has a LCD TV, complimentary bottled mineral water and complimentary soft drink in the mini-bar! The location is superb with the MTR, f&b outlets and 7-11 just few steps away. The only drawback was that the bath tub was very slippery and there was no anti-slip measurements on the bottom of the bath tub and could post danger when being a bit careless. At this competitive price (around USD90), we would definitely consider staying at this hotel again for our next visit.

Excellent Location. Got free upgrade to better room. Staff are very kind and willing to help. I'm very satisfy with this hotel and will stay there again for sure. Don't miss TAN TART (Egg Tart) at small bakery (3 HK$/pc) near 7-11 opposite of the hotel. Very tasty!!

Rooms were excellant although a little suffocating as the aircon needed to be on for ventilation. Bathroom was small but still good. Restaurants on site were fantastic and bus access directly at the door to everywhere else made it an ideal hotel

My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay in YMCA International House Hong Kong. A free shuttle took us straight to our hotel door from the airport via airport express. The Yau Ma Tei station in Pitt street was just a minute walk away from/to the hotel. And even a bus stop is located in front of the hotel along Waterloo Road. Housekeeping staff were very friendly, rooms were ok for their rates but what made us really happy was the strategic location of this hotel and the shops around it.

It's not luxurious but the location is very good being a couple of blocks from Mong Kok, and it's also clean and quiet - I'd stay there again.
