My wife son and I went to the Carlton last June and enjoyed our stay beyond what we expected. The hotel new ""Carlton On the Beach"" was amazing beautifull and worth visiting even if you do not stay at the hotel

Hotel undergoing major renovation affecting the lobby floor and the perimeter of the property. We could not sit outside and/or enjoy the view due to construction. We did not know this prior to making the reservation. Would have been nice to know. Still a great hotel at a great price, but not without compromise.

My wife, son, and I stayed at the Carlton for four days during Passover. The rooms are large and clean. The food is great. The staff is attentive, and the pool on the top of the hotel is terrific. Enjoy the on-beach location."

The Carlton Tel Aviv is located within easy walking distance to the beach promenade with several great dining options. The hotel staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions for dining options.

Allthough the physical facility of the hotel is fine, it's located near a busy higway. The front door leads you to a place under an off-ramp. At night to walk anywhere else in Tel Aviv you have to negotiate a series of unlighted tunnels and stairways - not very user-friendly.
