The Calcutts House is located in the riverside village of Jackfield in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, the birth place of the Industrial Revolution. We offer warm hospitality in our 18th Century former Ironmasters house, rich in character and steeped in history. We have ample private parking with The Ironbridge and many of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites within walking distance. The old towns of Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth are nearby. We are ten minutes drive from Telford centre. Delicious hearty breakfasts are served in our period dining room and you can relax in our beautiful residents lounge which has a fantastic Inglenook fireplace for those cosy evenings in. Located in The Ironbridge Gorge, The Iron Bridge itself is the ideal place to start exploring the beautiful Shropshire landscape and its fascinating history.
