| Landlord and staff went out of their way to be of help.
Parking to unpack car (tend to have "some" luggage when traveling from OZ was initially a worry. Easily sorted.
Food (thanks,Chef Andrew) was excellent. Though would have preferred something between cereal and toast and a full English breakfast.
Room was clean, comfortable and had the best shower I'd had whilst in the UK.No problems with linen. Was as described.
Lazy afternoons and pre-dinner drinks in the walled garden, were delightful.
Am coming back, definitely.
Thanks, Carl et al. |

| On a crossroad the room was constantly pervaded by traffic noise. Double-glazing would be a huge bonus. The dining facilities were, to say the least, primitive although the dining room (not available to guests of the hotel for the nights we were there) looked better. We had to put up with a table in the bar.Atmosphere was friendly and the landlord was trying to make our stay a memorable one. |

| This hotel was exceptional! The staff were very friendly and the landlord makes sure everybody feels at home. The room was very clean and full of character. The food was truly exceptional and was the of a standard I would have expected from a top restaurant. All in all one of the best places I have stayed in for a long time. |

| The hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the Henley / Wargrave area. Centrally located, with friendly staff the room was more than adequate, the food superb and the service top drawer. All this for an extremely competitive nightly rate. I would recommend the Bull Hotel to anybody. |

| First impressions not great and did not meet expectations from description provided; the carpet up the stairs to the room was very dirty, the "home made biscuits" were McVities digestives, the "crisp Ejyptian cotton" was not evident (in fact the quilt cover had definitely seen better times) and there was only one "big fluffy towel" under a pile of thinner, slightly grey ones. All small things but added up to a less than satisfactory impression. The food however was excellent. Breakfast took a while to come - a little frustrating with a meeting to get to, but was worth the wait. Had I been offered some cereals, fruit, fruit juice or similar to occupy me while waiting for the cooked stuff the wait may not have seemed so bad.....! |
