Doug & Pat We where celebrating our Ruby wedding aniversary with a short break in Scarborough where we met 42 years earlier,The room was excellent and very clean after negotiating the corridor leading to it wich could have been signed better

This hotel was excellent in most ways, but they have a problem with staffing levels and their experience. It is a shame, because the food, accommodation and location is excellent. The staffing problem manifested itself in the dining room. Coach trips x 2 equals not enough places in the dining room for private guests.

We booked this break last minute and enjoyed every minute. The Hotel was everything we expected and more. The Hotel was in a great location with approximately a 20 minute walk into the Town Centre. The staff where friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in a Deluxe Room which was very nice and clean. Would defiantly stay in this Hotel again.

The Bed, Breakfast and Evening meal deal was excellent value for money. The evening entertainment was very good though not well attended by other guests. Only issues we had were bedroom windows would not open and unfortunately for us the weather was very hot, so room was stifling at times and the fire doors in the corridors had no dampers and were therefore banging at times, not enough to spoil stay. Overall, we would recommend this hotel.

The hotel has just been refurbished. The room was quite large and very clean and well furnished. On the first night the food in the restuarant (and the service) was excellent. However on the 2nd night the food (and service) was very poor.
