I was in Kansas visiting family. I was ironing and threw a breaker in the room. When was the last time they had a fire inspection I thought????? Poor lighting in the room and the shower was very small. The breakfast was something I could have gotten at a super8 wasn't very good. I said that it was in a nice location and it is. If they pay closer to details this could be a very nice place to stay.

Were in town with 12 year old boys baseball tournament, free laundry facility on 8th floor was nice, but most of the time was a line, only one washer and one dryer. There is a large laundromat on Seneca St. that went lots faster. The wireless internet did not work, neither did the cord they gave me to connect directly. Alarm clocks did not work, but I think that was Clarence's fault. Our boys enjoyed the story about Clarence the ghost that the employees told. Rooms are several different sizes for the same money, next time, I would ask for a larger room. If you order Papa John's Pizza, walk a half of a block to pick it up to avoid a delivery fee. Liked the coffee shop in the lobby. Staff was friendly most of the time.

the staff is unfriendly and absolutely nothing works in the hotel ie. phones, ac, lights etc. heating vents were hanging out of the ceiling. While we were waiting in the lobby we heard a number of people complaining at the front desk - they were having the same type of problems that we were

Breakfast was wonderful. Room was not clean and we had to pay for parking. Having my room clean is a big thing for me. The carpet and bed sheets were sticky. The second day we left the hotel at 7:30 am and stayed out all day having fun.

we were in town for a sporting event. we had twenty people in our group. we were there for three days and two nights. we would wake up every morning with bites all over us. 5 people in our group had the same bites as i did. hotel mang. was advised of the situation, and they did not even say "im sorry." other wise it was an ok place to stay.

The staff was very helpful. The hallway was dirty. It is an older building in the downtown business district and shows its age with tiny elevators and only two of them. However, the staff is outstandingly helpful and the rooms are comfortable.

The furniture was broken, the internet access is weak, the closet door and tv cabinet doors were off the track/hinge and the air conditioner was broken. They said they were full and had no other rooms yet the travel agency could book a room.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Carpet and furniture appeared old, needed updating. Nice location downtown with a very friendly staff. Room need some updating. Breakfast was nice considering it was free.

Without exception, hotel staff was all great. Parking located across the street for additional fee per day. Room was extremely large and initially impressive looking. But, turning on the lights showed it to be dated, worn and dirty. TV was not flat screen (which I'm becoming accustomed to) and on the smallish side. Furthermore, it was way across the room (20'+) making it seem even smaller and hard to hear without pumping the volume. My room was facing busy Douglas Avenue and was subjected to loud traffic noise at times, although turning up the HVAC fan masked most of it. Outdoor free parking is apparently available behind the hotel, and a garage across the street is available to hotel guests for a daily fee. Somewhat inconvenient, but it's enclosed and has security at night. Restaurants were decent and the staff was very attentive. Wireless internet access is unsecured and free, however the speed is pretty slow.

Nice lobby area, classic old hotel. Lack of ventilation in bathroom. Nice location downtown, large room. Could use updating with flat screen and remodeled bathroom.

Comfortable, spacious, clean, and comfortably classy. The room did not have a refrigerator although there had been one in there at one time. This building is an older, and historic hotel but recently renovated. Very nice but not pretentious. The breakfast buffet was quite good. I would highly recommend this for others on Price line. If I were paying full price I would expect the overnight parking to be free.

It was centrally located and staff was friendly. They charged me for parking in a parking garage and we found out that it was a public parking area. They argued about it it had a public parking sign. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. No hot tub was a downer. They charge for parking when the parking area had public parking signs all over the building. We later found out that the city owns the building. The hotel staff argued that they did indeed own it. However I spoke with city office and they confirmed it was a public parking space.
