Absolutely brilliant - accommodation, food and service from all staff. Not to be faulted only wished we could have stayed for a few more nights.

2 night stayBeing at the top end of B & B accommodation it should be difficult to pick any faults and it is.Lots of little touches had been applied to make our stay enjoyable and to elevate the accommodation well above what's deemed to be average.A big plus is the attitude of staff who are always pleasant and helpful, eager to please.Minor negatives would be space in the ensuite ( you had to reverse on to the toilet!) and being really picky a Freeview box would extend the range beyond analogue channels.Admittedly, you don't stay there just to watch telly but it's handy.Wi-fi access allowed me to see the Tour de France highlights on my laptop in our room, so that balanced the books I guess.Easy walking distance to Harrogate town centre is another plus.

bijou b and b - delighful. will be back!Great location, a warm welcome and plenty of little but important things that made it a special sray - beautiful bathrobe, great toiletries and magaziens, quality and aesthetically pleasing decor. For us it was value for money as we used Late Rooms and got a discounted rate. Full rate would be out of our price range unforrtunately. We'll recommend this to friends and I hope to be back.

Lovely!Building is beautiful, inside very now and trendy. We stayed in one of the outer buildings and it was great - can't fault it.

Great room, great valueI usually go for a 'hotel' but this 'B&B' is every bit as good.Beautifully furnished, great bathroom, lovely breakfast.

A little bit of luxuryIf you fancy something a little different, this boutique B & B is a refreshing change from the standard chain of hotels. From its friendly welcome to its delightful room this B & B is certainly worthy of a stay. Like its name suggests the rooms are compact but have everything you need for an enjoyable stay inlcuding a few surprises. Easy walking distance into Harrogate downhill but a small incline on the return.

Excellent place to stay with spot on service and breakfastWe spent two nights at the Bijou and everything worked out really well. Great service, a clean and quiet room and very good veggie breakfast. It all added up to a low stress and highly enjoyable weekend away in Harrogate.

One of the best hotels I have stayed inThe hotel stay was 5*. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was brilliant. All cooked fresh with plenty of variety. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Newly decorated with a con tempory feel. Beats any of the larger expensive chains anyday!I would definately stay here again if I am visiting Harrogate. 5*.

Just PerfectSo nice to stay somewhere other than the typical 'every room the same' chains. The owners have obviously spent a great deal of time and money sourcing the furniture and fittings for the hotel. The finished result is superb. Harrogate is a lovely town and pretty up-market too. This establishment sits right at the top of the tree. Clean. comfortable, friendly, helpful and a great breakfast. So handy for the town and conference centre too. We only stayed one night but will most certainly be back for more. A little gem.

The Bijou Boutique B and BVery satisfactory accomodation, we were not positive however that we got the 'superior' room that was booked, we thought we were in a standard room. The big negative was noise, after deciding on an early night we were awoken at 10pm by what we thought was someone on a treadmill, this persisted for an hour, then at 3am we were awoken again by other drunken guests/staff trying to get access to the hotel and screaming demanding that Jackie (?) let them into the hotel. On a positive the breakfast was high quality.

2nts bank holiday breakWe thought the Bijou a lovely place to stay. Although our room (superior double), was smaller than we expected, the decor and cleanliness was faultless. Breakfast had everything you could wish for, fresh fruits, home made muesli, banana cake, cereal, and much more. Plus the traditional full English! The staff in the dining room were extremely friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The only down side was the room being at the front, got all the noise of the traffic. So ask for a room at the rear of the property. And thanks to the drunken couple who kept us awake on our second night!!! Hope you had a bad head!

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful decor and the attention to detail was 2nd to none. Our room on the top floor was lovely, with lots of tasty treats! Didn't want to get out of bed it was so comfortable! Was a bit disappointed we missed out on brekky though... we arrived in the breakfast room at 9.50am (a little last minute but with 10 mins to spare!), sat for a while, then gave up... plus they had run out of juice! Good job Betty's was just up the road! We had a lovely stay nevertheless. Would definitely visit again, and badger the chef for a full English- with double portions!
