Built in 1907 as a private residence for a wealthy Boston merchant, Bertram Inn is approximately three miles from downtown Boston and eight miles from Logan International Airport. This location is also two miles from Fenway Park, three miles from Copley and Newbury Street, four miles from the Old Town Trolley and Beacon Hill, and five miles from the Freedom Trail and Quincy Market.

Hotel amenities include the grand sweeping staircase, quarter-sawn oak paneling, leaded windows, fireplaces, collection of antiques, abundant gardens, living room/breakfast room (with a fireplace), and complimentary afternoon tea, snacks, and fresh-baked cookies.

What are your breakfast options?: We do serve a free breakfast (hot dish) from 8:00am - 10:00am daily.
What transport is available to get around?: We are just a block from the subway system, which is called the "T", and it will bring guests to some top attractions.
What can I do nearby?: We are conveniently located less than 3 miles from downtown. Some of our top attractions are Copley Plaza, Faneuil Hall, or the Freedom Trail which are about 30 minutes via subway. Also, there are many things to see indoors at museums.

As far as restaurants downtown, the most popular are Cheers (on Beacon Street near Charles Street and the Boston Public Gardens), and The Union Oyster House (on Union Street near Faneuil Hall). Another stop should be The North End - the place to go for great Italian food. Hanover Street and Salem Street have the top spots for authentic pizza, pasta, and pastries.
