Our stay at the BelmontThe welcome was friendly, the breakfast/service was great. The room was a bit of a diy job, and unfortunately noisy as the hotel is located on main road.

One Night in TorquayWe only spent one night in the hotel, however we found the accommodation more than adequate. The hotel position is very convenient for the town and sea front. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed. We had a great breakfast on the morning of our departure.

The BelmontWe stayed here for 2 nights over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We had a room on the top floor which could be difficult to access if you're not fit. We had a warm welcome upon arriving and they were happy to help us with any questions we had regarding the area. It's a short walk to the beach/shops and there's a bike hire shop only 100m from the hotel. The hotel offers good basic value for the price.

Great place to stay, only minor dissapointmentsLovely friendly staff, good location, nice rooms, tasty breakfast.Only complaints were some of the decoration is getting a bit tired, and there was no hand soap or anything in the bathroom, which we needed to buy.Those things aside, I would definately reccomend this hotel as a nice place to stay.

excellent placeThe Belmont is one out of several guest houses on Belgrave Road looking all pretty much the same. I am not sure how the other houses are, but at the Belmont the landlord is very friendly, the place is clean and the breakfast was the best All-English breakfast I had during a one week stay in the UK.
