Exceptional roomWe all agreed that the room, location, and food were exceptional. Michael gave the 4 of us a great idea of town, sites to see and most importantlly places to eat. The only problem was the bathroom door was a little tricky and resulted in one of us being locked in the bathroom for half an hour. When this was mentioned on checkout this didn't seem to be taken on board. However on the whole a great place to stay - watch out for the door.

Only slight problem was parking... had to block other vehicles in along the road from guest house. Otherwise would go back. the breakfast was terrific.

We really enjoyed are break in Weymouth and would go and stay at The Bake House again. The brekfast was lovely and cooked fresh for us with a good choice of what we could have.I think the amount of money was a bit pricey due to the fact you only has 1 room but we would go there again. The house owners were also really freindly and welcoming and gave some good advice on where to eat etc.Overall we really enjoyed are stay.

The only disappointing thing was that as a non-smoker, our room was at the back, and we could smell the smoke from the two smokers who were also staying, and were smoking in the small courtyard. It meant we had to keep our window shut, and even then we could still smell it. Perhaps the smokers should be in those rooms, or not allowed. Everything else completely spot on.

Our stay at Bakehouse in Wymouth was a thoroughly enjoyable one, we were made to feel very welcome, and within minutes we felt completely at home and comfortable. The rooms and facilities are furnished to an immaculate standard, and the hotel is situated perfectly between the beach and the harbour. The breakfast was an enjoyable experience in itself, varied, healthy and filling. I would heartily reccomend this hotel to anyone, and would like to thank Penny and Michael for helping us have a lovely break in their fantastic hotel.

What can I say, Room was simple, airy, clean, and well finished, the Queen size bed with full compliment of John Lewis Bedding was to die for. Bathroom was immaculate , Lovely Free Standing Bath, and Spacious Shower, All Top Quality and a pleasure to use.Having just four Bedrooms, made it much nicer and we could not have been made to feel more at home, even down to the offer of coming back and having supper cooked by the owners as the restaurants were so busy. There is also private parking, which is a bonus as the car parks are £2.00 for 2-3 hours max, so there is no need to keep renewing parking tickets!. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to perfectionTo top it all the bottle of champagne on ice that was waiting in the room just put the icing on the cake, the only complaint that I have now is the fact that my own king size bed feels so small!!Thanks for making our weekend so relaxing and enjoyable, worth every penny!

The bake house has been beautifully restored and you can see that Michael and Penny have put all their love and attention into it. Our room was lovely and bright with a great 4 poster bed and a second double bedroom is included in this suite if you have kids. The bathroom was very high tech, the light goes on as you walk in, the only weird thing is once you are in the shower it goes off after 5 minutes - but flap your arms around and it comes back on! Overall a great place to stay in a central location and a very welcoming family.
