Sue Wilson, your hostess, only moved to New Zealand in 2010 from the U.K., having been drawn to the Southern Hemisphere by her children who have made their homes here. Sue is a keen golfer, tennis and bridge player. As a member of The Queenstown Golf, Tennis and Bridge clubs she is only too pleased to arrange games for you. Situated on the Kelvin Heights Peninsula, The Queenstown Golf Course is at your feet as you look out across the Lake from The B and B on the Hill! There are a number of other excellent golf courses close at hand Millbrook, Arrowtown and Jacks Point all within about 20 minutes drive. Why not base yourself here for a golfing holiday. All the other many attractions of Queenstown and the surrounding area are close at hand and can be enjoyed during Spring, Summer and Autumn, when the area offers a pleasant climate. In addition, during winter, there are the skisnowboarding slopes of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, within 20 minutes by car or the bus service is a few minutes walk away. About an hours drive are the ski areas of Cardrona, Treble Cone and Waiorau Snow Farm near Wanaka. The airport at Frankton is 10 minutes drive, pick and drop off can be arranged.
