Excellent and professional service on arrival. Extremely impressed with the room size and en-suit facilities. Very clean room with modern trendy decor. An ideal hotel for corporate guests on business stay with free parking and great location to central reading train station. Breakfast was impressive with great quality food and very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I would definitely stay with the Thameside Hotel again.

Very comfortable bed, which I really needed. Great shower. Only really negative feedback was the carpark - not ideal...

Clean, good size for one person but didn't like the location as it's situated on the main road with heavy traffic. I got the room in the attic! It's like a B&B rather than a hotel, ideal for a one night stay which is what I did as I was in Reading on business the next day. Good comfortable bed, very good reception and check out.

The Hotel was fairly central, handy for the Station etc. Staff friendly and room clean. Perhaps a little pricey for what you got, (but there was a complimentary continental breafast I think that was not mentioned!) The real pain was the car park, VERY narrow entrance, (especially with the scaffolding that was being used) Couple of local restaurants (one on riverside was quite good).

The room and customer service were spot on, I had a nice big screen tv in the room which was a bonus and the staff were helpful. The parking requires you to go down a very narrow street and was difficult to navigate through in the dark but at least there was on-site parking included in the cost. This definitely beats the over priced chain hotels and I will be booking here again when I stay in Reading.

A good hotel within walking distance of Reading Station with parking. Clean and comfortable and better inside than from viewing from the road. Staff were friendly and professional.

We'd rate this hotel as a 2-star, the flat beer to the cheap bathroom fittings. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly however we will not be coming back.

I have been looking for a nice clean hotel that is good value for money for a while in reading. The apartment room I stayed in had everything that I needed.

Decent hotel. Room seemed newly decorated. Walking distance into Reading (about 10-15 mins safe walk).

Was useful that there was some parking - although it was difficult to get in and out of.I had specifically asked for a quiet room away from aircon vents and fire doors etc - but my room was on the ground floor at the front - and traffic noise from 4.30 am was awful.Would go back - but only if there was a quiet room to the rear!
