The resort's 91,000-square-foot casino features over 2,300 slot and video poker machines, 35 table games, a poker room, keno lounge, bingo room, and a race and sports book. The 2,000-seat Dallas Events Center hosts headline entertainment. Other entertainment options include an 18-screen movie theater, a 24-hour 60-lane bowling alley, and a 5,000 square foot arcade. Other amenities include free parking, a 24-hour front desk, a concierge, limited room service, business services, safe deposit box, wake-up calls, tour assistance, multilingual staff, shoe shine service, currency exchange, and the Kids' Quest supervised childcare facility. Dining options include the 24-hour Texas Cafe, the Feast Around the World Buffet, the Oyster Bar, Austins Steakhouse, Italian fare at San Lorenzo, and several fast food options at the food court. Because it's now included in the services fee, there will no longer be an additional fee for internet access in the rooms. A $100 security deposit is required upon check-in.

The room was beyond what we expected when it came to cleanliness, Respectfull of privacy , they were so kind to accomodate us to a non-smoking room when i by accident reserved a Smoking friendly room, The Hotel Staff from the front desk to room service are so polite and even better always had a smile on their faces and were always kind enough to Say good morning THANK YOU you made our Experince so great we are considering always using Texas Station every time my boyfiend comes from Cali , or even just recomend Texas Station Hotel to any one coming to Vegas

If you want to stay away from the strip the Texas Station is a good place to stay. The front desk person was very easy to deal with. Be sure to use your room key to regulate the air conditioning, we learned the hard way because the air goes off in the middle of the night unless the key is in the slot by the door. Use the buy 1-get 1 free coupons in the paper (delivered to your door) for the buffet. There is another coupon that can be used at any station casino in the same paper. The Red Rock and the Aliente buffets are better. We won on the slots also.

This was our 1st visit to Vegas. Thought we were getting a good deal, about 43 per night, but there is no shuttle to the strip which is 5 miles away. You have to take taxi 40.00 from airport, 20plus to strip one way. There is a city bus stop, but wouldn't recommend at night and it takes forever. Nothing wrong with the hotel it was clean enough and decent for the price, but unless you have your own transportation stay on the strip or at the palace station which is only 1/2 mile from the strip and has a shuttle. The people were all very friendly and courteous. My family really liked the restaurants and the lunch buffet was fabulous. I like Bingo so that was really great that I didn't have to leave the hotel for that. The pool was lovely, restful area and always a pleasant breeze to cool us off. This is the second time we have stayed here, and , in spite of the cost to go downtown or to the strip, we don't plan on staying anywhere else. Best place we've stayed in all our trips so far. Hope they can get a shuttle service someday.

Lunch buffet was good and inexpensive. Staff was unfriendly, service was bad, no good amenities, but an extra amenities charge, charged the price twice. This was definitely the worst 3* hotel I ever stayed in the U.S. I was absolutely disappointed with the service. They charge an extra mandatory, daily fee for pool, Internet. At check in (this leads to an increase of the price of up to 50% of the room charge.) They gave us a wrong invoice at check in. They gave us the wrong room keys (the room was already occupied). When we complained at the lobby they told us it was our fault? And last but not least. They really did charge the hotel room to our credit card (so this was charged twice by the hotel. (definitely not a bargain.) Overall this is really not worth 3*! This drags all the other really good 3* hotels down. We had better experiences with the service in 2 and even 1* hotels. Would not stay there again. Still trying too get the money back they charged on our credit card.

When I booked the hotel with online travel website , I wasn't aware that I would be hit for + per night for hotel services. When I declined the "services" they said that is not negotiable since it comes with all Travelocity charge. The room therefore cost me more than I had booked for with online travel website. I paid it upon departing the hotel.

The Asst. Mgr. that checked us in was rude and misinforming. The other desk clerk staff was just as rude; only the mgr. Nancy was helpful. The Feast buffet was nasty. The 25 upgrade that they say includes unlimited bottled water, candy and popcorn actually only includes 2 small bottled waters in a tiny fridge, 1 generic choc bar on your nightstand and one packet of stale Act II butter popcorn. Your request for more is met with frustration and some resistance. This also is billed as 27 and some change for the 25 upgrade fee. You are also charged 5.40, unannounced at check in, on top of everything else paid for "hotel service." We were told by the manager that this cost is, in part, to pay for the coupons that they give you at check in. The hotel staff placed a hold on our debit card without disclosing they were going to. We were advised at check in that the debit or credit card needed to be on file for any room damages incurred during our stay or discovered after checkout. They placed a 100 hold and then a hold for our balance of 23. Granted, the holds were cleared after the manager advised us that if we, and we did, pay the entire week up front, which we attempted to do at check in with the asst mgr, in which he refused to accept the payment. When we offered to go ahead and pay upfront at check in, the assist mgr said "no, just pay when you check out," and made no disclosure about placing a hold on our card. Our vacation was practically ruined because of the dealings with this hotel. We will NOT return and will NOT recommend this hotel.

We were for 5 days and had a good time. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the strip. It would have been more convienent to stay on the strip but for the price we couldn't complain. We rented a car for the week and when we went to a Mandalay Bay or one of the other big casinos we just valet parked. Valet parking is free but we did tip a couple of dollars each place we went just for the ease of getting around. The buffet is average to above average. Breakfast was really good. The casion is the typicla smoky environment, but what else would you expect. All in all a good place to stay. Dont waste your money on the Crazy Horse show it was stupid. The Jubilee at Bally's was pretty good.

Hi, It is hard to find a good place to stay and eat near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. But, this place has it all. Enjoyed my stay so much that I am going back October 2008 for the next NHRA drag race. Loved the Fat Burger and italian restuarants at Texas Station. I traveled alone and found it easy to eat out. Texas Station also gives you a free game of bowling for you and three friends if you have time. Go relax and have a good time.

This hotel/casino has the feel of classic Vegas. As a business traveler I loved the fact that I could run down and grab everything from Starbucks to Quiznos or a burger from Fatburgers (open 24 hours) in between working. The rooms were nice and quiet (another plus for business travel). Oh yeah, the buffet is AWESOME and affordable. I've stayed at three different casino/hotels in Vegas this year alone and Texas Station was the best over all. I even took time to catch a movie (Wolverine) at the in-house theater. It's all about convenience and quality. One final note, they have a play center for kids and my impression is it'd be a nice place for family vacations as well.

If you're looking for a nothing more than a cheap room with few ameneties, a staff that doesn't appear to care whether you're there or not and lousy food then this is the place for you.

For business travelers, there are 2 main issues:1. Internet service: It is not wireless and you have to pay 10.99 a day!2. Breakfast buffet: Depending on your room, you receive free passes for the breakfast buffet but it does not open until 8am. I did have serveral of my clients & the rental car agency warn me that the hotel was in a bad part of town but I did not have any issues or see any cause for concern.

We came to Las Vegas to bowl in Nationals at Cashman Center. We were so glad to be staying away from the Strip and downtown,because the freeways are a mess. Getting to and from Texas Station was quick and easy. We love the open feeling of the casino and all the activities available for the whole family. My husband stays at Texas Station every spring and fall when the NHRA is in Las Vegas and loves his home away from home,no stress parking, eating and the rooms are clean and quiet.

Choice of many types of restaurants. Additional $14.31 daily fee. The hotel/casino chain is reportedly in or near bankruptcy and it shows everywhere from almost invisible security to nastily looking silverware in the buffet. The room safe was broken, the machine to reprogram it was broken, you get voicemail when you call the front desk (and then none calls you back). Worn out beds!

The lobby and casino were very clean but rooms left a bit to be desired. Sink did not drain but they did fix it. The internet connection did not work. It was convenient to where we needed to go. Parking was easy and always available. Food in the cafe was not good.

This was a great place to stay. All of the staff was very friendly from the hotel desk, any of the dining options, housekeeping, bars, etc. Every type of dining from fine dining, quick food and a diner and starbucks. Convenient location, easy to find. Very clean and you felt safe. I would stay here again.
