I just came back from being there with my 3 sisters and mother. Although the rooms were a little outdated, everything was very clean! Our villa was beautiful! The front desk staff was so friendly and helpd us with every request and with a smile too! The food was pretty good and a very wide variety and the servers and bartenders were so nice too. The activities people and entertainers for the shows were so much fun. There was alot of shopping down the street and you could easily hop on the bus to go to Zihutanejo. We had so much fun!. My family has traveled alot and all over and we would come back here. Now of course its not total luxury, but it was very clean, gorgeous view of the ocean and the pool was very beautiful. And we commend all the staff for a great job. Now the only downfall was it was hard to find a lounge chair because people get out there early and put their towels on them but we survived just fine. It's all about having a fun positve attitude!

The lobby of the hotel is very dark and dingy.....that is the 1st thing you experience at arrival. The rooms are ok, the restaurant is ok, the front desk service leaves alot to be desired, they did not take care of our requests in a timely manner. Housekeeping is Excellent.

I just spent a week there with my family and we had the best time of our lives. The lobby is completely open on one end so it is very airy, bright and clean. The rooms are clean and spacious with a beautiful view no matter where you looked. The pool is beautiful and very clean. I will say there are not enough lounge chairs, which was a problem. That is my only complaint. They had a large variety of food and everybody should be able to find something they like. The desserts were yummy!! They have dance shows every night, which for amateur dancers were pretty darn good. Those kids work hard to put on a good show after doing activities all day at the pool. The staff was always smiling and seemed happy to see us. If we had a problem, they were quick to help. EVERY TIME! The beach is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Shopping is close, bus service to Zihau is cheap and easy. We can not wait to go back. Is this a 5 star hotel? No, but I don't know if we could have had more fun or been treated better!

If you are there over the weekend, it is very over whelming with local family's. Tons of noisy kids. Monday a.m. everything was more calm. Lobby needs decor help. Drink Service @ pool slow. Food choice for pool side lunch very poor. Rooms ok. They were remodeling rooms while we were there.

Front desk service was bad. Forget about a wake up call. Rooms were out dated. Food was poor, drinks are served is plastic cups. Can not drink in pool and never enough chairs because it is half condo/time share. The guards stalk you looking for your hotel braclet, felt like I was at a prision camp. Spend the extra money and stay at a better hotel.

Service at the front desk was poor, housekeeping just couldnt get it right about the number of linens to leave, sometimes left no wash clothes and other times left 1 for 2 people. Food was okay, the drinks were terrible and they were served in a 6 ounce plastic milk glass, and no two drinks every tasted the same. They didnt have hardly any activities--1 game of bingo out by the pool and some pool arobics, but that was it. The location was great as you can walk to all shops and restraunts. Beach was wonderful but not enough chairs or lounge chairs around the pool and the lounge chairs down on the beach were pretty beat up and worn. I definitely know I would not stay there again.

We went to Mexico for the first time and loved it. The people were friendly, very hospitable! The front desk was helpful at all times and the sports and entertainment staff were amazing! Very friendly and kind. The food was very good, tasty and well prepared. Yes, it was geared to a more Latin American palate (as it should be - when in Rome....). The room was basic but comfortable. The kids club was not as active as the website claims, and the room could be a much brighter, airier room than it is.

I was very unhappy with the All-inclusive part of the hotel. The drinks were nice but the food was terrible excpet for breakfast. We ended up not even eating our dinners there. Rooms were very noisy.
