One of the real value-for-money recommendations, the Tayhan Hotel is located in the lively Kumkapi area of Old Istanbul, renowned with both locals and visitors alike for its colourful, fresh seafood restaurants. The location of this 2-star property (locally rated as 3-star) allows visitors to walk to nearly all the major historical sights - and this includes the Grand Bazzar, the historic centre of Sultanahmet, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
