Enveloped by the cool shade of rustling casuarinas, the resort loos out to the aquamarine Andaman Sea, flanked by a landscape of centuries-old limestone caves and uninhabited islands.

Every room is spacious, with timber floors and large windows, to take advantage of the tropical breeze and a choice of enchanting garden, pool or sea view. Employing the best of the Asian-Eastern influence, the decor is complemented with upholstery and drapes in soft Thai silk and pure Indian cotton fabrics. All rooms are equipped with LCD TV, DVD and compact disc player, private bar with coffee machine and oversized bath with separate shower. Anjung rooms are 100 sq metres and has a view to both the sea and the lush gardens.

The Rhu is a restaurant that embodies the grace and elegance of the Casuarinas tree. This fine-dining restaurant has air-conditioned and alfresco sections - serving East-meets-West seafood cuisine, amidst the soft strains of a serenading string quartet. Sands is an alfresco casual all-day dining restaurant offering local and western fare. This beachfront restaurant with ponds and ceiling fans, serves a variety of Malaysian and Western cuisine. Saffron is a Mediterranean Restaurant. It also has an alfresco section with an unencumbered view of Tanjung Rhu's stunning sunset. Sands pool bar is located in the centre of the pool area and it serves assorted beverages to swimmers and sun lovers during the day. A separate wood fire pizza oven is located in an adjacent outdoor kitchen for guests to savour snacks and other delights overlooking the Andaman Sea. The Reading Room is a cool, quiet haven with a magnificent view. Besides being the venue for English Tea, or coffee, with hot scones, pastries and savouries - you can also browse through an extensive collection of books and magazines for your reading pleasure.

The lobby is open air, cool, surrounded by lush greenery and fish ponds. The atmosphere reflects the relaxing mood of the whole resort with delightful gardens in lush tropical greenery.
