The hotel is VERY safe. Has a friendly staff working in the reception. The rooms are large and clean. Our room had 2 double beds, internet connection by cable, and had much light making it good for reading. On the top floor of the hotel there is a a small swimming pool, and not to forget a rotating restaurant. The view from there is fantastic. We where not very impressed by the breakfast buffet, neither of the staff working in the breakfast lounge. They seemed to have now interests in their hotel guests and where not at all service minded. But don't let that ruin your stay at the hotel. We extended our stay at the hotel with a week as we were given a good discount staying a little longer. We can very much recommend this hotel.

Fabulous view of Teatro Amazonas opera house and Rio Negro from my high floor room. Lobby was too cold and equipment in exercise room was broken. Breakfast buffet is good, location excellent, staff knowledge of English sometimes limited, though someone was always at desk with functional abilities. Food otherwise was variable, with good sandwich and pasta, lousy lasagna.

Great Brazilian modern dcor. Location not central to points of interest. Hotel staff and accommodations were excellent, but we later found out we paid too much for a taxi to downtown (arranged by the bellman).
