Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging provides vacation rentals at North Tahoe's Northstar Village. The Village's centerpiece, an outdoor skating rink, will draw you and your family outdoors as the sun is setting over the mountains. Nearby, a list of festivals and children's activities will help you plan the day. The fire pits and sitting areas throughout the Village are ideal for meeting and relaxing with friends and family. Shopping and outdoor dining will become a daily activity. With the new gondola just steps away, skiing and boarding will always be on the menu for adventure. What are your breakfast options?: We don’t have a ton of breakfast options in the village. However, ones that we could recommend to you would be Starbucks for a scone, biscotti or that type of fare. We also have Earthly delights and they have breakfast burritos which range anywhere from $8.00 - $10.00. They also sell cereal, and other basic necessities that could be utilized for breakfast. We also have a marketplace that just opened and they have groceries as well that include breakfast food.
What transport is available to get around?: We have the North Lake Tahoe Express Shuttle that runs from Reno International Airport to The Village here at Northstar. Other than that we also have a company called Bell-Limouisine that can pick up guests at the airport as well. In regards to transportation throughout the town and to markets, there is a company we recommend called High Sierra taxi and also there is public transportation called the TART bus that can get you around for the area and you can check out the website at http://www.laketahoetransit.com/home.
What can I do nearby?: We have an ice skating rink right in the village that is open from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, weather permitting. We also have tubing, moonlit snowshoe tours, cross country skiing and there is also snowmobiling down highway 267 called Lake Tahoe snowmobiling.
