Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!!!! Room was filthy. Had to have someone from housekeeping come & clean mirrors & then had to show him how to do it when we checked in. Mold in bathroom. 1 1/2 of lint in exhaust fan. Walls were dirty. Floor/carpeting was FILTHY!!! My new slippers after 7 days looked like I had walked in a coal mine. All BLACK. Not an exageration. Had to ask for towels & to change beds. They did not do this on a daily basis. We had to ask. When we checked in, we had to call and ask for soap, a remote, a light bulb, & wash clothes. This resort used to be GORGEOUS & THE place to stay. Not anymore. Terribly rundown & falling apart. Definitely not for Families. Location is excellant. Close to everything. Swimming pool was nice. The lounge also was clean & friendly.

Room and bathroom were VERY dirty. Towels provided were all thin and stained. Was afraid to walk on the carpet in bare feet. But, you get what you pay for, price was good but next time I'll save a little more to at least stay somewhere clean.

the tahitian resort was not as clean as it could have been, you could tell the windows and mirriors were dirty, the towels were like sandpaper, the shower curtian wouldn't stay closed resulting in the floor being soaking wet.But the people were friendly, the location was great.and the grounds(pool)etc.were cool, with a outside bar to sit at and drink next to the pool, the pool could have been alittle cleaner-leaves etc. but it was hours after trop. strm fay. but I would stay there again because I liked the atmosphere.

If you like leaf blowers going on for what seemed like hours chasing a single piece of paper, rooms where you can hear your neighbor sneeze, and a cooked to order breakfast that included a couple of muffins, toast, and some bad coffee, then this is the place for you.

Do not be fooled by the name. The Tahitian Resort was a very unpleasant experience for my husband and I. The location of the hotel was fine. From the outside the Tahitian Resort appears to be a very low budget motel. The paint is peeling off the walls and from the outside it has a dirty dingy appearance. The room appeared as nothing had ever been update or changed ever. The curtains were dirty and stained yellow, the bedspread was full of stains. The walls showed visible mildew. The faucets had rust on them. The sheets and bed itself appeared as though they were the original and had never been changed or updated. The room had a strong odor of mold and mildew, such that we were not able to spend one night in the room. We had no complaints about the staff.
