Spent a great week in Singapore for the Genee RAD competion. We would like to thank the staff for a very pleasant stay. The room we were in was on the 53rd floor with magnificent views. Looked forward every day to the great breakfasts. Internet cost were a little steep but lots of free areas around the hotel. The room we were in although had views was a little tired and in need of a refurb. Great place to stay.

We did all the sightseeing ,excercised,went for dinner and enjoyed the pool.We "lost" a nigt gown when the maid changed the bed.And the service we got when they found it was great.They served us a bottle of wine in the room with some fruit and a big apology in a letter.Very professional.A nice touch. The only thing we reacted on was the price for the brekfast.I have traveleld all over the world but that took the prize I think $ 40 it is a bit too much.

Swissotel Stamford is an excellent, strategic location for visiting Singapore. It is right on top of City Hall MRT, which provides access to/from the airport and everywhere else in the city. We were in Singapore to see CATS at the Esplanade, and this was a pleasant 5 minute walk. There is great eating and shopping in various malls right downstairs or in a nearby church complex that's been converted to a cool eating area. The rooms are clean but a bit tired. We had problems with the AC, but the hotel was very responsive in servicing it. We were generally very pleased with the hotel.

Lack lustre check in staff to say the leas(expressionless, carefree,and non flexible and far too regimented and often rude). Room service was ok but much better when it was Westin owned some years ago. Dirty rooms ie. (curtains, carpet,mouldy bathroom with bad plumbing and non maintained air con system). Nice views and could be a great hotel if it was cleaned up and maintained properly and had better check in staff.But positive side...great location!!

We had a very pleasant stay. The service was excellent. All staff were polite and quick to respond to any requests. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

There is no particular queue to follow for check in/out and guests are confused. They do not know where to stand and who comes first. When I was checking in, I had the same problem and I heard other guests asking where should they queue too. Location is very good. Nothing fantastic about the room. No fruit basket or newspaper.

Nice place, great view of the city! Just be sure to get a renovated room, as the old ones are unimpressive.

The hotel is OK as a 5 star hotel should be but the service was certainly less than 5 star. The american buffet breakfast was only just average. For the same cost there are better hotels in Singapore.

Very good and comfortable room. Internet charges are very high and charged for a whole day. Good place for rest and holidays!

MRT and the shopping center downstairs are very convenient. I got the harbor view room at 21st and it is nice although they got me the wrong room 1st time and there is a smell. SIN38++ is highway robbery for internet since some much cheaper hotels in Singapore provides free internet. Shopping centers have free net. The gym costs money to get in, for a 5 star hotel that sucks. Message at 9:30 am saying that they are not cleaning the room because I have a privacy sign seems a little harsh.

Stayed in the executive club - was a little disappointed by the quality of product for a hotel of this status. Cold breakfast for example is not what one would expect from a Swissotel. Other than the quality of the executive club the hotel in some areas seemed a little tired. Great location but price wise maybe not so good - fairly typical of Singapore though.

Swissotel The Stamford is in a good location ( near public transport and major shopping centres near city hall) and is very reasonably priced. Service was on the whole very good. However, the interiors of the hotel looks tired and could do with a facelift. New Asia bar located at the highest level of the hotel might seem a little touristy but well worth a visit for the views and a cocktail.
