My husband and I spent three wonderful nights at the Merchant Hotel. The service was second to none, the room was quiet (best sleep I've had for ages, it is practically attached to the underground, restaurants nearby - just a beautiful hotel. Can't wait to go back!!!

Godawful service from the restaurant, with numerous complaints ignored. I was frequently seated at tables that still had food scraps on them from the previous patron (never cleaned), and even watched one restaurant employee bump into a guest, spill his drink, and not even excuse herself or apologize. The GM and Restaurant Mgr of this dump should be fired. This property is a disgrace to the Swissotel brand.

Having arrived from a long trip from the UK it was great to be settle into a luxury invoroment at the Swissotel Merchant Court,friendly staff and well maintained hotel with out being to pricey.Construction work around hotel can be off putting but once you are use to it you take no notice

I was very happy with my stay at the Merchant Court. It was within close walking distance of the MRT and, therefore everything in Singapore. The room was very well appointed, had a nice view over the pool, and was affordable through Hotel Club. Would definitely stay there again.

This was an excellent stay. Service, staff and cleanliness was above expected standard. Excellent location near pubs and clubs and also close to MRT train link. Highly recommend this Hotel and would like to stay again.

The room that we had was at the end of the corridor and it very quiet and good. There is a lot of privacy and I personally like to design of that unit. The bed is comfortable. The hotel staff was very kind to attend late check out for me as it was my birthday. Thank you! Location is superb. It is within walking distance to restaurants, pubs and hawker centres. Next to the hotel is a near shopping mall and a subway.

I was surprised that breakfast was not included in our room rate. Breakfast, I thought, was expensive at $30 per person. The room was adequate but small in comparison to other Singaporean hotels we have stayed at. I did not feel the price paid for this hotel was as good value as other hotels we have stayed at e.g. Traders. The bathroom looked as though it was in need of an overhaul but it was clean. The whole hotel was clean and the service was very good. For a one night stay it was fine and in an ideal location, but I would have been disappointed if I had been staying longer.

Had problems with Hotel correctly coding room keys (twice). Safe in one of the rooms did not work. Expected LCD TV's which they did not have. Breakfast overpriced. Security staff helpful.
