A city break in a first class hotelFrom the moment we arrived at the Swissotel in Sydney we felt special/ The greeting by the concierge team as we entered, followed by the excellent reception staff made you feel that you were valued as people and as customers. Our rooom was pleasant, comfortable, and, even though it wa in the middle of the city, very quiet. We were having a short break to celebrate 40 years of married bliss!! I mentioned this at reception and an hour later a bottle of red wine was delivered to or room with a card. We enjoyed lunch in the bar area which was good value for money and very tasty. Breakfast in the dining room on both days was a pleasant experience with excellent choice and the waitress we saw on the first morning actually remembered our names and what we liked to drink the next day. Pretty impressive I'd say. I would really recommend this hotel to others and will certainly stay there again myself/

Fantastic location, big rooms, very friendly staff, I recomend to everyone who is going to Sydney, we pay per nigth like 85euros, for this price was espectacular!!

The location is hard to beat and the beds and duvets are exceptionally comfortable. The massages from the health spa and the cocktails from the downstairs bar are both worth a look.

Excellent location for shopping and sightseeing. Stops for Hop On Hop Off tour buses and monorail are well within walking distance. Taxis are plentiful. Lively location, even at night. Staff are courteous and helpful. My room was comfortably spacious. The bed and pillows are one of the best I have slept on in ages.

great location, next door for the sydney tower, half block from monorail, 4 blocks walkinf from daling harbour, 5 blocks from the rocks and circular quay (opera house, ferries to manly and bondi beaches), excellent to visit downtown atractions, acuarium, wild life, restaurants and bars in walking distance, will stay again when in sydney

loved the location, 5 minute walk to darling harbour, 10 minute walk to circular quay, 2 minute walk to hyde park, right next to the tower, a quick walk through the QVB to the town hall rail station pitt st market is currently being renovated, so there was some extra noise and construction vehicles, but it looks like the future development should be gorgeous

This hotel is in an excellent location. It rained and we didn't get wet because of the access to underground QVB, Woolworths, Town Hall Station, Myer, Daved Jones, etc. The beds are firm [no sag] and the shower was hot and lots of pressure.

The position in Sydney of the Swissotel is excellent, the staff cheerful and helpful and our accommodation immaculately clean. Together with good food, we could not have asked for a better stay.

From teh helpfullness of the staff to teh central location, the Swissotel met all of our needs during our stay in Sydney. We booked restaurants and activities through them and they had excellent advice when we had questions. Room sservice meals were reasonable and the one dinner we ordered arrived very quickly and was good. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and the staff was extremely helpful and nice, specially the concierge. We really enjoyed this hotel -- great location if you want to do things around Darling Harbor. A bit of a walk to Circular Quay, Opera House and the Botanical gardens. We were quite impressed with the staff and service of this hotel -- had a great stay!!!!

This was most convenient for shopping and theatre. A classy Hotel with a large comfortable room with a big ensuite & bath. The staff were very obliging and helpful at the entrance and desk and they rang me as soon as the room was available as we came in early from a Cruise. We had a special deal with Room, theatre & buffet breakfast which was excellent. I would recommend this Hotel and go there again in the future.

The Hotel is very well located, right in the heart of the shopping area and a short walk from the Darling Harbour. We were very pleased with the room and facilities. The staff, especially the concierge was very helpful and the service was extremely prompt. It was a great 5 star experience for us.

This hotel is steps from the train . It is right in the middle of the city, you can walk or train or bus.The rooms are spacious and have a fridge. The hotel staff was very friendly. Loved it!
