It was a very nice hotel, 99.9% of the staff were excellent, but I do suggest the management to do something with the rank and file level. The bell boys didn't seem to care about my luggage, the receptionist at the cafe, not polite at all, it's kind of rude. Other than that, all other staff that I came across with in the hotel, were nice and professional. The room was very clean, the food was good. I will stay there again if I need to be in Beijing again.

We just returned from our Beijing trip where we stayed at the the Swissotel. The location couldn't be better! Though the hotel is not the 5 stars that it is billed, it is clean, sits on top of the subway station and the staff couldn't be more helpful. It did rain one day during our visit and we were provided umbrellas. The concierge was more than willing to arrange a taxi or car for us to go to some locations out of the city. The subway was a wonderful way to get around and very easy to use. I encourage you to give it a try, especially to get to the Forbidden City/Tianamen Square. A word of caution; I used the hotel massage service, booked an hour foot massage. "Kate" spent time a lot of time chatting, massaging my hands and arms then finally began foot massage. Halfway into it she said time was running out, she'd need another hour to do a proper foot massage. I declined the additional hour but did agree to an extra 30 minutes. I wish I hadn't. In my review I did not consider her "staff".

I love this hotel. The rooms are well proportioned, clean and the beds are comfortable. They have a FULL gym. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is also ideally located near, Wangfujing Street, Sanlitun Bar Street. If you are a big breakfast eater, try to get the Buffet included in your room, otherwise you pay a lot. My Favorite hotel in Beijing!!

This hotel was excellent quality, service and location, especially considering the price (it's within walking distance of the Workers' Stadium, and it's only 30 steps from the Dong Si Shi Tiao subway station (subway line 2)). I definitely would stay here again.
