Avoid this hotel! We booked a family room in this hotel, and paid it in advance for 2 nights. When we arrived there, nobody was aware of our booking. After a half hour arguing we had a cheaper room to stay. Next day the reservation department found our booking. But because of the formula weekend, no family room available. We had to stay in a cheaper room that we paid. When we came back home we made a complaint and wanted a refund of the price difference between family room and the cheap room. And then the hotel staff LIED that we stayed in the family room!!!!! No refund available!! Additionally: Hotel is very poorly maintenance. When we arrived there, the refrigerator was not working. No drinking water in the fridge. I went to ask the reception about the drinking water, they said: go to 7-eleven. 200 meters away! Believe me. I have stayed in many hotels in Asia, Europe, Africa, America, and this is absolutely the worst hotel I've ever visited.

The newer side of the hotel has good rooms, with clean toilets. the room is small but comfortable. however, the older side of the hotel has very old furnishings with creaky doors... but those rooms are very spacious. Dont mind staying there again.. on the newer side though. location is ideal... porters are of not much help. the hotel has a luggage room which was very helpful for us. good for a short and budget stay.

Recommended to flashpackers looking for laid back adventure at affordable prices. Top location in lively Chinatown with good hotel bar and restaurants right on the busy market sidewalk. Excellent for short KL stay but no swimming pool. Reasonable rates include good breakfast.

Excellent location, good complimentary breakfast and very helpful staff at reception. Make sure you book a Deluxe room as the Superior rooms are windowless (no natural light), significantly smaller, exposed to noise in the hall and won't help you offset your jetlag one iota. A comfortable stay.

Swiss Inn hotel is a major disappointment by 3* hotel standards. In terms of the cleanliness, it is not up to the standard, there was a fly in my room and the rooms were not cleaned when we checked-in. I suppose the period I was staying must have been a busy school holiday period. The facilities are minimal. There were no business centres, thus not an ideal place for business travellers.The elevators to the rooms are located on the 2nd floor and not good for those navigational challenged guest. They serve breakfast but you also have to withstand the 'sourpuss' and indifference attitude of the staff there as well. Location is ideal especially if you want to explore Chinatown and its various Night markets. A hotel that I will never return to.

if u are travelling by foot, its OK. But if u bring a car never comes here as they dont provide car parks. It add-up u another rm30 for yr car "hotels".
