An overall alright place, unfortunately 24/7 construction work was going on on the backside of the hotel by the time of this review.

I chose the Swiss Garden Hotel as a treat for my mother and sister while they visited KL. I had been told great things about the hotel, especially its service. We were sorely disappointed and will not stay here again nor would be recommend it to our friends. Upon arrival (mid-afternoon) my mother and sister were taken to a room with dirty sheets, unwashed bed covers and a television that did not work properly. After three or four calls to the front desk to change the bedding and try to fix the television, they were still not moved to a cleaned, fully functional room. The next day and only after repeated requests were they provided a room change.

Good clean hotel but not the best location however depending upon price still a good place to stay as taxis are very cheap.

Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were adequate with newly renovated bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Easy to walk to markets, department stores, supermarkets, restaurants and train. The general cleanliness of the hotel was poor but that seems to be normal for KL. I don't think the windows, curtains or blankets had been cleaned for a very long time.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. I paid quite a bit of money for this room (in comparison to pricing for this region). My expectations were not that high as all I wanted was a quick overnight stay in wait for my departure flight. But this hotel did not even meet my low expectations... in short the hotel is a 2-3 star at best. Yes it was clean, but the rooms are quite small and very well worn. Also the hotel (an only the hotel) experienced a power outage for 2 hours or so with no explanation from staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone (maybe a back-packer).

One BIG negative is that they forgot our 6am wake up call so we had a big rush to the airport. Pity as otherwise the staff were perfectly friendly and efficient and I would have given a Very Good rating. The massages are pricey (by Asia standards), but the spa is nicely presented, although the room was a little cold.

Its cheaper hotel at present as the area is being rebuilt (2009) and think 4 star is maybe a little overated but it was a good place to stay for us this trip. Could have done with bigger pool. Its handy for monorail, LowYatPlaza (computers) and other shopping stretching up to Lot10 and beyond! Close to huge coach station which didn't use. Walking distance to Chinatown (25min), although not a very pleasant walk and to craft centre in opposite direction. Monorail is 5min and easy to use.

A nice and clean hotel in the centre of a big shopping district. Chinatown is just a short walk away and a 5 min with drive with a taxi will take you to the Petronas Twin Towers.

We love staying here and this was our 2nd time and did not disappoint. The staff are all so friendly, give great service and the hotel is in a great place at the end of Bukit Bintang. An easy 2 minute walk into a fun of KL and practically opposite Jalan Alor; the fabulous Hawker Food Street. The jewel in the crown for this hotel though, is the e-lounge on the 11th floor. The team of guys who work there are above and beyond helpful, plus they serve complimentary tea, coffee and snacks. Enjoy Swiss Garden Hotel
