I stayed here on business during October 2008. The reason I stayed was due to the fact that all other hotels were full (conferences). Definitely not a business mans hotel, especially if you need constant e-mail access. I had WiFi connectivity in my room but it was very low, therefore affecting the speed. At one point I ,lost connectivity for 1 and ½ days. Not good when I need to respond immediately to e-mails coming in. On the other hand I would recommend this hotel to people who are visiting for pleasure and with families. The hotel is ideally located on a walking street. This afforded a level of silence during the evening which most families would find welcome.When you walk down the steps of the hotel you are immediately in the shopping and walking street. 5 minute walk to the nearest metro stop. 10 – 15 minutes walk from the main shopping streets.

I needed a convenient place to stay for the night and the Sveta was ideal. I had not planned to sightsee in Sofia due to lack of time, but the hotel is only a short walk from tourist attractions.Ideally located for the airport - a 10 minute trip away.
