The Sutton place hotel is amazing. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The only problem is the prices. They are outrageous! $33 for valet parking and $25 to self park?! You've got to be kidding me! Not to mention wifi isn't free. Too pricey.

While in Toronto we explored the city and thanks to the awesome location, we were pretty much close to everything. The hotel was clean and the staff was very polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel bed was comfortable, the TV's are new flat screens and the rooms were extremely quiet. I tried to check in early and they got me a room as quickly as possible - was ready in 10 minutes. It's a 5 min walk to Bloor Street and all the shopping. overall, a great stay at the price.

The price was great and the hotel rooms were fine. The hotel had a good location. We could walk easily south to the Eaton center area and north to Yorkville and Prince Arthur/Cumberland. We were a couple of blocks from the Younge/College subway stop. The room was clean and there were a couple of chairs with a table so we could snack in the room. The exercise room was adequate. There were a number of elliptical machines, treadmills and a stairstepper. The weights were adequate as well. The staff were polite and accomodating. Overall, we had a very good experience and would consider staying there on our next trip to Toronto.

I stayed 1 night in July 2008. I found the hotel staff to be very accomodating. The room was not luxurious, but adequate, comfy and clean. I was satisfied with the rate I paid (*/night). Although I checked out at noon, I was allowed to keep my car in the underground garage until 5 PM without paying an additional fee. In other words, I parked for 2 days in the hotel garage and only paid the rate for 1 day (*). The hotel's location is good, close to the theatre district, ballpark, shopping.

Good location, able to walk to all sights we were interested in. CN Tower, Rogers Center, and Hockey hall of Fame among others. Went to toront to see the red sox /blue jay game. Great time!Definetly want to go back!

The Sutton Place staff was a tremendous help. They provided everything that we needed. They suggested wonderful places to visit and dine, provided any directions that we needed, and exchanged our American currency for Canadian. Their onsite restuarant was a little pricey and did not offer a huge variety of items. It would definitely not be great for kids. We did order room service for breakfast and it was phenomenal. It was quick and delicious. The rooms were large and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We did experience a little noise from our neighbors one night and for the price we paid, this was a little aggravating. I think there were WAY too many people in their room. We left our keys in the desk drawer and did not discover this until we had landed at our airport back home. The housekeeping staff was very gracious in finding our lost keys and mailing them to us. The staff absolutely makes this place great.

Good location.. about 1.5 miles from CN Tower. Outside of this advantage, you need to pay $25 per day for parking ($33 if valet). Refrigerator is free if asked. Was told that microwave is also available for free but when asked told that it is not available and even if it is available it will be $25 per day. About $18 per day for Internet access from your room. Room service staff are courteous but can't say the same thing for front desk staff. The carpeting on the room is very old and little dirty. If staying here, go to Tim Hortons opposite the hotel for breakfast (cheap) and go to a coffee shop one block away on the same street for free internet with a coffee purchase. Pool is okay for young ones... but too small if more than 5 people show up. Eaton Center is a short drive for good shopping.

Good room size with upscale furnishings. Lobby area, once upscale, now needs a face lift. Great hotel, good location, great rooms.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The clerks at the front desk were rude and unfriendly. The room was old and dirty when we arrived and smelled of smoke (it was a non-smoking room). We had to call housekeeping each day to replace dirty glasses and restock toiletries. When we arrived we were told that parking was free, but a 25/day charge shows up at the end. Concierge was not helpful what-so-ever. I would never stay here again and recommend nobody else does either.

After arriving hotel,we wanted to change our room,because our daughter preferred to stay with us. We were three and we wanted a bigger room,they arranged but the pricie is quite high. We paid extra 150 CAN Dollar per night. Unfortunately we accepted.

They upgraded my room to a suite, which made my stay just wonderful. My daughter and I had a beautiful room, everybody was so helpful, they allowed us to keep our luggage on the day we were to leave for 5 hours for no extra cost. They gotyou a limo to the airport. Best time ever.

I was very disappointed with our stay at the Sutton Place and would not recommend it. The rooms were nothing to write home about and overall there was nothing special about it. I honestly find it hard to believe that ""stars"" frequent this hotel.

I guess this hotel once has been a nice hotel but it was probably never updated. It's grey, smelly and people are unfriendly. By the way: to get a bottle for water for the night you have to go to the convenience store in the end of the block. Nice, outside in the pyjama!!!
