We rented mopeds and spent everyday exploring the island. Beautiful beaches, delicious food, and fun mopeds made this a great getaway. Be sure to have some Fish Chowder and Conch Fritters.

We have been to Bermuda 20 times, and stayed at some of the most expensive resorts, and also at some of the least expensive B&B's. Surf Side Beach Club offered what we wanted. Lovely room with a kitchen, beautiful view of the ocean, very attentive staff who kept the room immaculate, and provided fresh flowers daily,and not least certainly a great location convenient to the best beaches. Surf Side did not disappoint us in anyway.

The property and views were amazing. No coffee supplied. Loved this hotel. Amazing property and views, easy access to the bus system. Great restaurant with a very friendly staff.

View of the Atlantic ocean was spectacular. Grounds and vegetation was wonderful. Deluxe Room was very clean, included toaster, microwave, 12-cup coffee maker & mini stove with all cookware/utensils. Staff was very courteous & helpful. Hurricane Fabian damaged the beach, but spectacular views remain as you walk down to the water-side. (Warwick Long beach is with-in walking distance) Surf Side's on-site fresh-water pool was well maintained. Yes, I'd deffinately stay at Surf Side again! Good value for the $ - March, 2009.

This was one of the poorest hotels I have stayed in, was quite disappointed. For the price we paid, it had extremely poor value. The only good thing about it was the view and the restaurant.The hotel service and staff was poor (refused to give us more than one shampoo a day); very run down room, water sewage problem over the weekend and they informed us at the end of the weekend. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I'd never stay there again, plenty of other v. nice hotels in Bermuda

A decent hotel but there is no beach. I guess the beach was washed away by a storm a few years ago. Location could be better.

It was located over looking the Atlantic Ocean, very scenic. Everyone was overtly friendly and courteous, understanding and gracious. It was not located closer to the city. I will go back to stay there again, the environment was very friendly.

As frequent travelers we were greeted to a diamond in the rough. The hotel is quaint. Arrving late, we had to bring our own luggage to the room. The room was clean, spacious and included a kitchenette fully equipped. Although not a total ocean view, our patio did overlook the blue ocean waters. Mother nature, unfortunately has eroded the beach with debris from the cliffs, but you can still enjoy the beach area. Aside from the afternoon front desk attendant, the staff was extremely friendly and upbeat.. Since it was off season, the restaurant was open sparingly but it looks like a plus during high season. Pool was not in service, again, off season. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Bermuda. Not 5 star, but that may be a plus for this property.

There was loud construction noise starting early in the morning and lasting until late at night on the east side of the resort. We were not told of this construction or we would not have booked this resort. There was no beach, only cliffs and rocks. The front office ran out of day bus passes so we had to get a token into the Hamilton bus terminal to procure a pass. Food was excellent, service was excellent.

Surf Side was quite a pleasant experience. Its a nice,quiet,comfortable resort I would freely recommend. Its location is situated,nicely about middle of the island. Must recommend the breakfast program. Excellent views.

It was very clean, it was safe and the prices were great. Service was also great. My toilet was messed up for a minute, but it was fixed. I really loved it and I will be coming back. Great service and this place is very clean.

The management staff and reception were rude and did not provide adequate assistance. Upon arrival, I was told they had no room available, eventhough I had fully paid for a suite prior to arrival. They initially did not assist with other arrangements, and I literally walked the streets to find another hotel to stay at. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a relaxing time!

Quiet and peaceful accommodations with a lot of privacy and great views of the ocean. Enjoyed sounds of the waves and tree frogs. Rooms were clean and kitchenette was well stocked. Grocery store was only a few minutes away by bus as were some of the major south shore beaches. If you are adventurous, like to create you own fun, and be in control of your meals, Surf Side is quite well situated. There is a nice small, quiet beach where we enjoyed walks, a picnic and some swimming. However, for swimming, we preferred Horseshoe Bay and the neighboring beaches.

surfside was located in the middle of bermuda on the ocean. the staff of the hotel were gracious and very friendly . my cottage was very clean. the restaurant was excellent. the view was spectacular. i loved everything and i will be going back. my sister and her husband wants to go there also.
