driving all night and needed a place to rest I ended up in Woodstock On. pulled into the first motel which was the super8. When I entered the lobby and looked around I thought it was a nice clean place, then I approched the desk and this dark haired woman came out from an office and said "yes" no hello, may I help you just a yes...as I was asking her about a room and the rates she was very abrupt and rude I noticed her name tag (Sandra) I felt like I was interrupting her so I asked if there were other motels near by and she told me the quality inn was next door so I said thank you and left. Place seemed clean but with front desk staff like her I will never return to the super8 in Woodstock again!!!!

Convenient location from highway 401, close to 24 hrs amenities. Bad smell, hard bed, dirty. The hotel staff was friendly, however after checking into my room I was very disappointed. The room had a strong mildew odor- like the carpets were wet and growing mold. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, my partner found a stain on his pillowcase- that looked to be old- it should have been thrown out. The hotel left the last occupants bars of soap in the sink and shower (I guess in hopes we may want to use them instead of a new package- there was a hair on the one in the shower). There were only 2 med sized towels for two adults to use. But it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had as far as cleanliness is concerned. I will not stay at a Super8 Motel again- I will sleep in my car before spending 80 dollars. I didn't think any Canadian hotel could be that poor.

Staff was very nice, easy to get in and out to the parking area. Sometimes it took more than one card swipe to open door.
