The room was not very clean and the outlet where the alarm should have plugged in did not work. I almost panicked when there was no coffee carafe in the coffee maker in the room at 6:00am. Fortunately, they had coffee in the lobby and the day was saved!

This hotel had no fitted sheets, no workers ever were in sight, workers had boyfriend hanging out with her all night there and no one was able to be found!

first we got there just after 2pm for check-in but the girl at the counter said they couldn't check us in until 3pm. so their check-in times are listed wrong. then when we came back the girl who checked us in didn't know what see was doing. she charged my wife's card when she wasn't suppose to. so we got double charged. and when i asked for a manager there wasn't one. when we got into our room there was beer caps on the floor and marijauna trimmings on the floor as well. and to top it off there were toe nail trimmings on the floor too! absolutely disgusting. i returned to the counter for a manger later on and there wasn't one. for the entire time we were there, no manager was ever present. so who runs this place. finally a woman working told me she cancelled the charge but now we are home and i'm still dealing with the charge that wasn't suppose to happen. i called the motel and asked for a manager and guess what, no manager available and it was ten in the morning. who runs this place. this was the worst motel/hotel i've ever stayed at. don't ever stay there for any reason.

Very close to Michigan Adventure. First impression was terrible - the lobby needs work. If you are looking for a cheap hotel near Michigan Adventure, this is the one. If you expect anything more than a place to just sleep for the night you will be surely disappointed.

Horrible! Disgusting! Smelled like an ashtray. Everything was very dirty. The carpet looked like it has never been cleaned. The room didn't have any towels and very little toilet paper. Bed was so uncomfortable, I had to sleep on a pillow. Very expensive for almost unstayable conditions.

Cheap and convenient. Check in counter boring and tub was clogged. Not bad if your there to just sleep at night, convenient for Michigan Adventures Park.

It was clean and in a good location. They used flat mattress pads and sheets on the bottom so the bed did not stayed made when you slept. Curtain was too close to the air so blew over bed. It is ok for an over night stay, but must fix the bed sheets.

Nothing. Lazy staff inconvenient. Awful! The staff was sleeping on the couch in the lobby. Not friendly at all! The hotel was empty and they gave us a room on the third floor!

It was close to fast food and stores. Dirty, things broken or not working, bad smell, staff unprofessional.

Early check in so we could spend time at amusement park and go directly to room at night. Shower did not work. Was very displeased that shower was not operational. I requested a refund of a portion of my stay and she knocked $7 off and claimed that is all the authority which she had and that no one else was around. The second most important part of the room after the bed is the shower and after being at an amusement park all day I definitely wanted a shower. I will not stay here again.

Location and price. Not being able to book a non-smoking room. Staff was excellent and the hotel very accommodating. I needed to stay an extra night and it was no problem.

Location was convenient to the amusement park chairs & bedcover was not as clean as they could be. For an overnight stay you can't beat the price. It was located close to the amusement park where our family visited so it was easy to find. However, the room needs to be update with paint, and I found the chairs in the room very soiled.

Good clean rooms, and good housekeeping. Very close to restaurants and quaint shops in Whitehall including the lakes. Continental breakfast is pulled at 9 am and only has donut holes and bagels with coffee and orange juice. Wouldn't hold it pass 9 am. They would not hold the Continental breakfast past 9 am when the two of us were the only guests in the motel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Also, next door to McDonald's which would be great for a quick lunch, breakfast, etc. or kids. I did not like smelling cigarette smell in the hallway since we were in a non-smoking room. Always very strong every morning. Some of the other guests were noisy next door. It is located in front of the newly covered landfill.
