The Super 8 Motel was very limited in amenities. The room was very small with the most uncomfortable bed, no sitting area or desk accomodations. The location was 6 miles from the nearest restaurant.

The beds are almost new. We loved the friendly staff. Everything was so clean. I thought that the breakfast was somewhat lacking. Not enough options. No pool. This hotel met almost all of my expectation. Even if they are a little high. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the entire hotel was spotless. A great place for a family to visit. the only down side was the lack of a pool, the kids would have loved it.

I was their for 7 nights vandals hit three times my rental car on my last day. Not well lilted at night. Not very safe. House keepers were rude. It is about 8 miles to West Yellowstone. If I had it to do over again I would stay in West Yellowstone were I could walk to shops,restaurants,imax, etc. And spend that extra 16 miles and time sightseeing in the park. There are a lot of decent priced motels in West Yellowstone.

The Super 8, West Yellowstone is actually located 7 mile west in Lyon's Head. For those who choose to distance themselves from the tourist rat race, this is it. It is close enough to town to be convenient and far enough away from the bustle to be peaceful. I will definately be back!!

Owner was okay. Smelled and pool was so tiny, you could not even call it a pool. I travel a lot and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The smell of curry was overpowering and oppressive.

Great staff. We enjoyed the Super start breakfast with the waffles. Expensive for a Super 8, but in an expensive area close to Yellowstone.

Pleased with the staff and cleanliness of rooms and public areas. No pool, no hot tub. Good place to stay for the money if you do not care about having to travel seven miles in order to shop or eat.

The hotel was being renovated, there was some hammering and pounding going on. the new rooms look very nice, we were in an older one, very small bathroom area. It is 7 miles out of town, nothing close to eat or shop. Staff were friendly and accomadating. Probably because of the renovation, the back door to the hotel had a card key entry but was always unlocked even when we got back late.

It was lower priced than other hotels in the area. It was not in West Yellowstone. This hotel had paper-thin walls. You could hear everything in the hall and other rooms. If you are a light sleeper or a little noisy it might not be a good choice. It is also 6 miles from town, away from food services, shopping or tourist attractions.

This hotel is 6-7 miles away from small town of west yellowstone, the surrounding is beautiful though, with ranch and hills. The outside of the hotel looks neat and nice, but the room is quite out of date. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is OK.

The staff was wonderful and the breakfast great. The toilet ran all night had to turn it off. It was a beautiful place but a little to far from the main entrance to the park. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. They were very nice people running the place. I would recommend the place to anyone. It was clean and friendly.

Very friendly staff. Decent price for the area. Comfortable room. Location 7.5 miles outside of town -- secluded area -- but very easy access to YSNP -- watch signs for 20 carefully. Simple breakfast. Book in advance -- hotels in area fill up quickly.

Nice clean rooms not that far from Yellowstone gate. It was outside of town about a ten minute drive to Yellowstone but I like to drive. Hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly and very helpful. It was outside of town but it was also the least expensive of all the hotels. Just gave you a very light breakfast, toast and juice. But overall I was very satisfied with my stay.

"This motel was one of the worst motels we stayed at during our 2 week trip from SD to Calif. First and last experience with Super 8 Motels, although the one in Butte, Mont was very nice."
