Date of Stay: July, 2009

Due to a power outage, we were not able to use the pool. The power went to 1/2 power around 9:30 and completely out at 11. Didn't come back on until the follwoing morning. Staff was pleasant about the situation, but we needed to check the front desk for updates. It was a little unnerving to sleep in a hotel where there wasn't any power. Being the location and Holiday we felt that there wasn't anywhere else to go. I'm not upset with the staff, we chose that hotel because it did have an indoor pool.

We loved the pool and the breakfast! The room was freezing when we got there! Overall we were impressed with the priceand the accommodations. The main thing that I would change is the bugs that were squished on the walls and left there as well as the fact that the room was freezing when we got there.

We had a non-smoking room-but the halls reeked of cig smoke-poss bc staff was smoking outside lobby. ""Super"" Breakfast is false adverising - unless you define super as eng muff - w/1 toaster!

Power went out around 8:00pm and didn't come back on until around 6:15am the next morning.Couldn't sleep it was so hot (85 degrees). No fans. Just lay there sweating. The next morning everyone got a discount rate but I was told they didn't know if I'd get one because I booked through Orbitz. Is this correct? If so, I got penalized becaused I used you. I don't think that's fair.

The Super 8 was very comfortable and the room was a nice size. We were traveling farther north so it was nice to have a good place to stop to freak up our trip. After you pass Bay City heading north in Michigan there are not alot of options. It would have been nice to have a few more hot items at the continental breakfast but it was nice and it was free!! It was nice having the outlet shopping mall right across the street.

It was easy to find and the pool was nice. We lost power all morning and could not get ready before checking out. The hotel was as nice as expected and would probably stay again if they offered some sort of credit or accommodations for the loss of power the entire morning that we had to check out. We could not even prepare for our day properly due to the power outage. They said it was not their fault however; the gas station next door had power.

Very clean, modern and a good value for the money. The hotel was great. Nothing bad to say about it. The hotel was a great value for the money. The free breakfast was a restaurant cooked meal, not a continental one. The rooms were clean and upscale feeling. I would recommend it highly.
