The reviews on this hotel must be fixed by the hotel staff because there is no way anybody would rate this place a four. We checked in and when we walked into the 2nd level hallway I noticed a loud dehumidifyer in the middle of the hall ??? Entered the room and noticed how small it was. Not enough lighting in the bathroom to do anything, prob not lighted well to not show the dirt in the room. So we laid down to sleep and turned the air conditioner on. About 15 min later and on the verge of sleep the air conditioner shuts off for no reason. So know you can hear everybody on all sides of you and upstairs. Paper thin walls painted in a nice Indian style pink and green. I mean India the county, not American Indians. Then something in the hotel turns on and continues to be loud. 20 min later the air came back on. Then 10 min later it shuts back off. That was it, we left 3 hours after being there and complaining to the person in charge who could barley speak the English language. When we walked back out into the hallway it was about 100 degrees in the indoor hallway. We will never again stay at any Super 8 Hotel ever again. I can't beleive they let somebody run a hotel like this under there name. Never Again will we stay at a Super 8.

It was close to the interstate. It smelled heavily of fresh paint. The hotel was decent. The staff was friendly. I had to have the guy at the front desk help me with my internet connection. There were a few things I was unhappy with. The walls were really thin. You could hear people talking even if they spoke softly. There were workers repainting several rooms nearby. They were there late and back early. The workers were somewhat loud. The room I stayed in had apparently been painted just a few days before. The paint smell was so strong that it made me nauseous. The free breakfast was decent. It was primarily cereal and bread products. I left as quickly as possible the next day because I couldn't take the paint smell any longer.

I stayed here for one night on my way to Colorado. My room was clean. I had my two cats with me, and it was not a problem. They are a pet-friendly hotel. It is located very close to Interstate 70, so it was nice and handy for me. I had a pleasant one-night stay here and would recommend it.

The location was great. But could not get to sleep until 1:30 am due to noise in rooms above and beside rooms.

The lady at the desk was very friendly, some you have an attitude, but she was very nice!! The hotel told us to talk to the mgr for the credit card, cause they couldn't exept it. Over all the traffic, was noisy and I could barely sleep. If we were not so tired, we may not have slept at all that is how noisy it was, not people, just traffic!

It' a clean and nice motel for single, students... Everything was clean. The bed was too soft for me, heavy person. friendly employees. there is wallmart behind of super 8. Breakfast was simple but nice.

Everything was o.k. until we had breakfast the morning of our check-out and the man at the desk was rude and hateful to my daughter.

When I asked for something they brought it. I asked for a nonsmoking room but it smelt like smoke. The staff was nice, the room was clean and maid service came everyday. The bad thing even though I asked for non smoking the room smelt like smoke, also the parking was not sufficient.

This hotel is what it is, an inexpensive place to sleep for the night. A bit on the shabby side but we felt safe. Quite frankly, I didn't expect much so I wasn't bothered by any short comings. However, I have stayed in nicer Super 8's. We checked in late and left early.

Everything was clean and nice. Comfortable and convenient. Enjoyed my privacy while there. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. If I get a chance to come back I will stay at the hotel again.

Although the room at the Super 8 Motel in Topeka, Kansas was very clean, I was somewhat disappointed with the smell in the hallways and stairways. The staff was very unfriendly and, at times, rude. The continental breakfast selection was very limited and needed replinishing during the early morning hours.

I believe the motel was overpriced for what it had to offer. I wouldn't expect to pay mor then $50.00 a night a hotel of that caliber.
