I've been at tremendous Super 8 motels, but unfortunately this one is in terrible shape! I requested a pet-friendly room because I had two small 10-lb dogs, and I also had my wife and 3 year old with me. It was a tough stay. As soon as I walked in the room, the smell struck me in the nose: they hadn't really cleaned out the pet-friendly rooms in a while! The carpet was worn out and filthy: we could tell by the black stains on our socks and on the soles of our child's feet. The air conditioner did cool the room adequately, but the noise it made was tremendous, and at times the unit actually screeched and startled us during the night! Finally, the shower area was dank and the water pressure was low, making it tough to wash up, both in the sink and in the actual shower. Overall, it was a gross room, but we were just too tired to bother switching after driving all day from Chicago. The next day, I complained about a few items to the GM, [...]. I pointed out that his a/c units sounded like they were going to give, but he told me he purposely didn't upgrade them b/c they cooled so well and worked better than new units! Riiiight. So, if the GM is too cheap to care, you better believe you aren't in for a good night. STAY AWAY from this Super 8!

Old motel. Needs renovation. Room was clean but not in the best state of repair. Was fine for an overnight stay but wouldn't stay here for vacation. Nice, helpful staff!!

They have wireless internet, hair dryer, and small refrigerator in the rooms now. It does have bagels, toast, cereal, milk, coffee, and juice.
