Great staff. We could only receive 2 extra pillows. Looks could be deceiving, it was much better on the inside than the outside.

I have stayed at this Super 8 motel in South Jordan, Utah (10722 South 300 West South Jordan, UT 84095) numerous times for business but this last stay for business was the absolute worst motel experience I have ever had. The bathroom in the room had a big problem! At midnight one of the nights we stayed a member of my group went into the bathroom to take a shower. Upon turning on the bathroom light water started to flow abundantly out of the light soaking the toilet and entire floor and starting to soak the carpet. We immediately called the front desk to let them know of the problem. The clerk came to our room about 5 minutes after we called him and looked at the light and then left. 10 minutes later water is still flowing so we had to go out and find him because he just left not fixing the problem. We found him playing on the internet in the lobby... when we found him he said he could do nothing for us. When we complained that it was a fire hazard to have the light and electricity wet he didn't feel it warranted any precaution and refused to change our room. The light in the bathroom was still flowing with a steady water stream. At this time the front desk clerk decided he would get a metal step stool and with a metal screw driver he would take down the light and then dry it with a towel while the light was still on and the water still flowing.. After fighting with the front desk clerk for two hours and asking that he call the manager and or owner of the motel, the front desk clerk gave us the manager/owner business card... which was no help because the only contact numbers on the card were the motel numbers. We were finally moved to another room after 2 hours. The room we were moved to smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, the carpet in the room was damp and the beds were damp as well and the air conditioner was on full blast making the room freezing and uncomfortable. The price was great and I guess you get what you pay for (how many times do we need to learn this lesson?) I am personally uncomfortable when I check into anyplace in America and the two ladies at the desk are having an argument then turn to me and say, Can I help you? The chairs in the room were thread bare and worn out. It was so uncomfortable we paid for two nights and left after the first. If you just need a place to crash and you're broke, this will get you through.

Price. The continental breakfast was a joke. The continental breakfast was pretty much stupid. I appreciate the coffee and the juice, but they had plain white bread, mini bagels, and mini poppy seed muffins. They did have a waffle maker, but it didn't work very well. The staff did try to make it work, but it just is not a really great thing for a continental breakfast. I would have been happy with real muffins (full sized with a better selection) and some danish of some sort. This looked like they sent the staff to Walmart to buy a couple of things. It was an insult to everyone staying at the hotel. Sure, it was free, but had I gone to any other hotel, their continental breakfast would have had a much better selection. Here is a suggestion. Get rid of the waffle machine and spend the money on danish and muffins instead. People want something quick as they walk out the door.

I booked a smoke free room, but didn't get. It stunk so bad of smoke all night and I woke up with a bad sinus headache and my sister who has asthma, coughed all night. We asked for extra pillows and towels, but the front desk said we couldn't have any. The pillows were very flat and made us feel like we didn't have a pillow in the first place. We were very disappointed.

Great Value. Microwave Oven, Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Hair Dryer, Iron & board in room. Good cable TV. Clean Room. Complimentary Continental Breakfast, Coffee in lobby 24-7. Wireless internet in lobby but also worked well in our 1st floor rooom near the lobby. Lots of parking. Small self laundry. Close to South Towne Center, Wal-Mart, Denny's. Quiet, except for occassional train which isn't that loud. Courteous staff. Only thing is that pets are allowed and there were a couple of dog droppings outside. No fleas noticed.

It was convenient to where we needed to go. It was clean. There was not a handicap room available. It was clean, comfortable and near where we needed to go. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Stayed there one nite while passing through. Except for the directions on this web site ( which are incorrect) all else went smooth and nice. I booked a king size bed on line.. Was pleasantly surprised to receive an extremely large room.# 324 Kitchenette...Living room... changing area... and of course a king size bedas well as all the normal stuff, cable tv, hair dryer, iron and iron board ect. Staff was polite...( not super outgoing ) but polite and efficient .The room was dated but very clean...but it is super 8 and I chose to stay here because of the value pricing. If you want the Ritz...then stay at the Ritz. Definitely a family place..Moms and Dads and kids everywhere. It must be a great place for skiers to stay as they went all heading out in the morning.The pool was full of folks. Breakfast was very good. Bagels, Rolls, Waffles, Hot and Cold Cereals, Juice, Coffees and Teas Location is best feature. 1 blk off I-15. 1/2 mile or less to many GREAT Eating establishments. A Denny's is right next door. All in all a very good hotel for the price.

Not dirty, quiet. Close to restaurants & mall. Could have used new sheets. It was a good stay. Very peaceful. Clean enough, there were stains on the duvets, but common for the types of hotel (1 star). Would stay again, no printer in the lobby to print.

We found our room to be dirty, in need of maintence. The people at front desk,were difficult to understand. We were disturbed by the lady at front desk, at 10;30pm, complaining of us walking around are room to much. We had just arrived to our room, and were getting ready for bed. Sometimes a good deal is not a good deal.

Price was right, close to where we wanted to go. Do not restrict work on motel to day hours. The motel was a little out of the way to get to but easy to leave due to the way roads are designed. The hotel needs to make sure that construction work is limited to day hours, and not after 8:00 pm when you want to relax and go to bed around 9 or 10. Hammering is very distracting when you want to sleep. The staff was very friendly (night time) day time staff was hard to understand as they did not speak English very well or communicate very well.

Nothing. Did not get the type of room I was promised had even called before hand and confirmed Terrible service. Was promised a room with a private whirlpool bath I even called and confirmed before hand When I arrived they said I had that room. The room did not had a private whirlpool bath I called the front desk and they wanted to charge me more $$. The crib they brought my son had not bottom to it. Asked for extra shampoo never received it had to wash my hair with a bar of soap. Will never stay there again.
