They charge $10 per pet. The breakfast is a carb fest with doughnuts, oatmeal (sugary) and cheerios. It's a great place if you have no pets and love carbs.

Friendly staff. Not enough towels in room. Good I enjoyed the stay we where in and out a lot but it was okay. The bed however was hard as a rock I didn't like that but my husband did he likes the bed to be hard. That is why we have a sleep number bed a home. Can't please everyone! But overall it was a great room for the price.

Wouldn't stay again. Bed was covered in noisy plastic. The tiny indoor pool had odd hours.

Hi, i stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and i felt comfortable with both safety and price. Good internet facility which i dont think you can find in any other hotels in shepherdsville (because i stayed in all hotels in shepherdsville). near to restarents and good bed room with micro wave and fridge. decent breakfast. they cleaned my room every day. friendly room service people and nice front desk staff. finally i will come here next time to stay for the price i am looking for and quality wise.

The room was spacious with a refrigerator and a microwave. That is a great way to save on food costs. It was farther away from where we were going than I though it was. I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was clean and had plenty of room. The staff was friendly.

Check in was quick. Whirlpool in room was excellent. No fridge or microwave in the room. It was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The entrance is on a back road and somewhat diffecult to initially find from the main road. We had to to wait several minutes after ringing a bell to even be acknowledged when we arrived as the front desk was not staffed. When we were finally greeted, we were told to not use online travel to book a reservation with them again. The room could have been in better condition; there was hair in the tub and mold on the shower handle. The sink and mirror outside the bathroom were tiny and poorly lit. The morning of our checkout, we were running a bit behind schedule and checked the guest book in the room to be sure of check out time. It stated that "every effort will be made" to accomodate a late checkout if needed, so we tried to phone the front desk to make arrangements. After half an hour of the phone not being answered, one of us went down to the front desk personally to inquire about a late checkout. After waiting several minutes for someone to come to the front desk, we were abrubtly informed that late checkout was absolutely not possible and we had to leave. That was it. No explanation. No attempt at apology. Just get out. While this hotel seems like a good deal, you only get what you pay for and sometimes even less.

Convenient location, easy access to fairgrounds and louisville. No fridge or microwave. Would have liked to have a fridge in room. Hotel was clean and smelled fresh. Nice whirlpool tub.

We stayed 2 nights at the Super 8. The hotel was older, which is not a big deal to us. We booked it because of the price. That was definitely the plus. A nice surprise was that the room came with a fridge and microwave. That we didn't know ahead of time and found to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel itself was OK. Our room was clean, but the rest of the experience just left me ready to move on to the rest of our trip. The staff was not overly friendly, and there were never enough towels for the four of us. We had to go to the front desk to ask for more upon arrival (there were 3 towels and four of us). The second day, after maid service, there were now two clean towels (and of course our party of four had not changed). The pool was by far the smallest indoor pool I have ever seen in a hotel setting. Also, the sign stated the hours for the pool were noon-9:00. If the kids you brought are just looking to swim, this is a definite bummer. The morning breakfast which is titled "super start" is nothing to get excited about. It consisted of fruit loops or cherrios, toast, english muffin, a glazed doughnut, oatmeal, apple juice, orange juice and coffee (no decaf). That list is complete by the way. The other thing you should know before coming is that the location is not great either. The area seems run down, a few fast restaurants nearby, but it's pretty far away from anything you may want to go and do. I would definitely check out your other options. A few more dollars will probablly give you a better experience, but for a budget it wasn't horrible.

Room was located by the stairs on the second floor, the staff in lobby were talking rather loud and laughing after 11 p.m. I think they should be more considerate of guests sleeping in the hotel.

My husband and I were on our motorcycle on this particular weekend when we addressed the issue about being on our motorcycle, the clerk advised us to leave in the parking area directly in front of the office where they could keep an eye out. Of course we did, and we had not regrets.

The room had a very musty dog like smell to it but for the most part it was clean and spacious. We were actually on a trip to Waverly Hills Sanitorium in Louisville and decided to stay close to other areas that were haunted as well.

It had a fridge in the room. Smelled, mustty order, small towels and poor customer service. Smelled, mustty order, small towels, poor customer service, would not stay at this hotel again, I would sleep in the car first.

The people were great and room was large and clean. Did not have an iron/ironing board in the room. We enjoyed the room and would recommend to others.

Spacious room. Small area for the sink and countertop. Easy access to the freeway. Close to local restaurants. Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

Easy to get to from highway, well lite and indoor pool. Not enough choices on breakfast. The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it was close to several places to eat. I would reccomend it to other people.
