The front desk guy harry was very rude and unfriendly. If I wasn't so tired I wouldn't of stayed in this nasty hotel room. The room had an awful smell that I just couldn't take I'd rather sleep in my car before staying in this hotel again.

It was nice stay. Super 8 cleaned and nice property I did stay. Friendly front desk. Room was cleaned. And price was right. And location everything is close to shop inc restaurant, shopping. Beaches close by. Good location good to stay.

the rooms were filthy. the sheets and towels were soiled upon arrival. staff refused to bring clean linens, bedspread and towels. after four calls, staff told us to go down and get them. elevator broken and we were placed on fourth floor. staff rude and unprofessional. posted photos on website very deceiving.

Close to beach. Very small room, ice machines broken, terrible breakfast, bathroom vent fan falling out & making mess.

The check-in process went smoothly. We got into our room and found it odd that everything was unplugged from the wall. We also saw daylight between the door and door frame so a lot of draft came in. Then we tried turning on the television while we were laying in bed and it did not work. Hotel staff confirmed this but refused to switch the TV out. Instead, we were given the option of getting dressed, packing all our stuff back up, and moving to a room on the next floor up and on the other side of the unit. The next day, the maintenance person came in, confirmed the television was dead, and promptly switched it out. Why couldn't the evening staff have done this? This is not what I call Customer Service!

We decided to stay here due to its realtive location to the airport, zoo, sea world etc. Being our 1st trip to San Diego we didnt know any better. As advertised there was supposed to be some sort of continentinal breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and only saw coffee in thier lobby (coffee was good though!) Make sure you note that this seems to be the only motel in San Diego without a pool.

None! No privacy, noisy can hear loud noises of room next to us. Our next door room was noisy all night & the manager came up to tell them to keep quite but they still made noises until 6:00am. My kids didn't sleep at all & we have to check our early!

We had booked this hotel to visit Sea World the next day. the location is convenient. But we had arrived at 3am, and the night manager was very rude. His tone was insolent when we called to ask for coffee pods that were missing from the coffee machine. He demanded that if we need coffee, we need to go down & get it ourselves. Upon asking him to be more courteous, he threatened to call the police & have me and my aged parents thrown out on the street in the middle of the night. We paid good money for the room & deserved much better service than what we got. We were already exhausted and this ruined our condition even further. It was a horrid nightmarish experience. To top it, there was no wireless connectivity, so I couldn't look for another hotel with vacancies that we could move to. I would caution everyone to stay away from this Super8 motel.

Convenient to San Diego amenities. Breakfast area was too small.

The rate was decently matching for this hotel level. The room was a bit cramped, but did not feel stuffy. Room was found clean and maid service did exceptional job. No major problem during our stay. The parking spaces are a bit tight, but manageable. Location is fairly easy to locate off highway, not far from downtown San Diego. Overall, had a good experience, not my top choice for my next stay in San Diego, but it won't be off my list entirely. Good rates with good experience. I have it a B+.

Well, when they programmed our room at check-in they only did it for 1 nite stay after paying up front for both nites. Never told that we were going to end up on the fourth floor of the building. It was not very fun when we got back to the hotel after our first nite at the amusemnent park and went all the way up to the 4th floor with a 2 year old and could not get into our room. Also, parking terrible, piegon poop all over car. Water in room had awful sewer smell. Will never stay here againg.

Friendly, honest (appearing) service. Continental breakfast - all sugar, no choices.

If you are looking for something more than a cheap overnighter, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. This hotel is a little shady and never bothered with as far as updating and maintenance goes. Don't expect to hook up any devices to the television sets unless you have a switch to convert them all to one coaxial wire. The televisions are all early 90s archaic. I was expecting to be able to connect to the hotel's internet connection through a wireless router. However, none of them were functional and I was advised by the clerk to pretty much mooch off of the Days Hotel down the street. The cleaning staff was really thorough. However, they were so thorough that they discarded what wasn't meant to be thrown away such as packaging to items I purchased and kept on the tables. Because of that, I was unable to return a device I didn't have a use for. I'm guessing the electric work in the room was wrong. The sockets behind the nightstand for the alarm clock both depended on the lightswitch. This hotel should be a last resort if all other options have been exhausted.

It was ok for our use since we only used facility for sleeping and were out and about all the rest of the time. Figure we saved about $300 for our stay. Needed that money for other spending... Location on Hotel Circle made it convenient to get anywhere in San Diego. Quick access to freeways that connect to everything.

It was decently priced. The room smelled funny. I knew that this was not going to be the best hotel I'd ever stayed in. The room was clean and the employees were helpful, so it worked well for one night. I have no complaints, except that the room smelled a bit funny.

I thought the room was clean and very spacous. Front desk was not always pleasant. I have never had to pay a phone charge to get even a wake-up call. But for you to just get a wake-up call you msut pay $20 for the use of the phone. The house keeping was great. Always clean every day. I'm not sure I would ever stay there again.

The rooms were decent, didn't like the ideal being on the third floor with children. Would like to have a microwave and more towels in the room. I guess I can't complain too much for the price, The price was excellent.

The room was up to date. The room was very good. Bed felt pretty new. Very close freeway access. Overall I would stay there again.
