The first thing that caught my attention about when I checked into the Super 8 in Santee was the non-chalant way I was greeted by the front desk person.

Nothing they was rude. Rude. The clerk was going to overcharge me for the room and the staff at the front was very rude.

Comfortable beds, decent comp. breakfast - overall good value. Really tiny pool. Convenient access to I-95, several good restaurants nearby, and a short drive to a very scenic State Park on Lake Marion combined with the clean comfortable rooms and reasonable price make this little motel an excellent choice for budget conscious travelers.
