I stayed at the Super 8 on Barbara Loop and was very disappointed in the room and management. I found dead bugs in the bathroom, smoke alarm was hanging from ceiling and the rug was very stained. I paid for two nights and stayed for 1 night. I was not refunded on the additional day I did not stay and in addition was charged for a broken coffee pot for $18, that they did not mention at check out, but saw it on my bank statement. Even though I left before check-out the next morning, the management was very difficult to deal with in person and over the phone. Worst experience I have ever had with this chain and will never stay there again.

Greatest staff ever; over the last two years has steadily improved. Lots of new room amenities this year. Once in a while a housekeeping issue, but always resolved by the desk when you ask. I would recommend this hotel to a friend. Definitely the best Super 8 I have ever been to. My stays are only $29.88 per night - a special price they offer contractors for staying a few nights at a time.

I have stood at this location before for business. You can not beat it for the price. This visit was for a family get together. One of my relatives stood at a different hotel just down the road, three block away, and paid twice what I did and they didn't even get the continental breakfast. Yes they had a pool but didn't have time to use it.

Clean, conveniently located, friendly staff. Thin walls, very noisy. Overall stay was ok. Rooms clean, hotel in a convenient location. Was greeted at the door by the smell of cigarette smoke (staff smoking right at entrance to hotel). Staff was friendly, but the smoking at the entrance was an immediate turn off. There was lots of noise, (walls thin) until about 11pm, staff and hospital guests going back and forth in hallway in front of room. Was clean.

Clean, cheap, huge rooms. Best staff ever, they help me carry my bags and feed my daughter breakfast since we arrived @ 3:00am and had not eaten yet. Great STAFF! Not the best rooms (old tv), but the bed was good and the fridge was nice.

Stayed three nights first three rooms were filthy hair etc on bathroom floors dirty tubs sinks two had toothpaste from previous guests carpets filthy no toilet paper in the first three rooms one toilet had feces on and outside bowl finally found a tolerable room all hotels were booked or we would have left, daily our room not clean by 4p.m. had to ask for clean unused towels sink and still dirty better to drive to Albuquerque for a clean room worst ever hotel experience first time at Super 8 LAST TIME at Super 8 complained to manager still no resolution

I own a painting company, and had many guys that needed to stay in Rio Rancho for work. This hotel was able to accomodate all my guys, and was even willing to put breakfast out early for us, as we had to be at the jobsite before 6 am. The rooms were very large for the price, and I was able to fit several workers in each room without them stepping on each other. The staff went out of the way to make sure everyone in my group was well taken care of. We also very much enjoyed the new matresses, the beds were quite comfortable.

Super 8 of Rio Rancho had very friendly staff. The members of the staff that checked me and my partner in were very friendly and knowledgeable. There was no hassle and definetly no wait what so ever. They made it obvious that they were expecting me and made my arrival to the hotel more welcoming. Though the bathroom in my room was small, everything else in the proportions seemed to fit. I loved the various and helpful appliances my room had to offer, from the microwave to the cute small black mini fridge.
