We checked in at 3:00 and our room was not ready. We had to wait for approx 20 minutes while staff finished cleaning room. There was no offer to either transfer us to another room or compensate us for inconvenience.

I planned a hotel getaway for my wife's birthday on New Years Eve. We met some friends at the bar across the street, and returned to our room at 1am. Initally we were loud and I expected to be warned. When we were warned to be quiet, the desk clerk told me that we were not to be smoking in out non smoking room, which none of us were. She then went on to tell me that she was going to call the police if anything else happened. I politely appologized, and she left. I turned to my guests and told them they needed to leave, and I would inform the desk clerk of that. I went to speak wth her at the desk and she told me that she needed 50 dollars to strip the room from our smoking. I didnt oblige but nodded and went back to my room. She then called my room at 230am telling me that she needed the 50 immediately or the police would be called. We called a cab and left our 150 room to sleep at home. Two days later when I came to speak with the manager she yelled at me that I had no right to ask for any favors and that I was just lucky not to be in trouble. I told her I had repeatedly appologized for the noise, and that there hadnt been any smoking in the room. She asked my wifes name and told me that because her family had stayed here and caused an issue earlier this year that we had no right to ask for any sort of refund. My 150 no-smoking room had burns in the hottub, and shower. I wouln't recommend anyone stay here until management has changed hands.

The pool and it was close to where I had to be at. Need a handicapped room with two beds.

Our keys didn't work, the fire alarm went off at 5am and the shower didn't work in the morning. When we went to the front desk the only response we got was ""Well it was working when you got here."" Not only is this hotel absolutely disgusting and dirty, but the employees are rude. I will never stay at a Super 8 again in my life.

The bathroom fixtures were old. Obvious mold and mildew in grout lines, etc. The carpeting to the vending machines was soaking wet. For the price it was ok. The carpeting to the vending machines was soaking wet. I walked down with just my socks on. Not sure if this was caused from a leak or something else. The hotel smelled damp in general. The room was clean enough and I felt safe crawling into the sheets!

I stayed at the Super 8 Motel in Red Wing in February. My husband and I were visiting some relatives in town. All of the desk service was exceptionally helpful and always polite. The room are very modest and simple. The only complaint I have is that I would like a better view. Overall, I would definately stay at the Super 8 again!

Room was clean. Refrigerator linked to light switch, food spoiled overnight when lights were out. Weather Channel did not work.
