Inexpensive place to stay compared to other rates in town

Avoid this motel !!!!!!! We had many problems. Key didn't work and the two clerks did not speak English, and took over a half hour to resolve. In other words -- no service. Urine smells on wet carpet in room.

I found it to meet our needs and in comparison to the other hotels in the area it was a good value as well. It was basic but clean, and the employees were very courteous and helpful. I should mention that there is also a good family restaurant, Cappy's, within walking distance.

Hotel had miixed musty old smell as well as smoke from smoking rooms in hallways. Continental breakfast was nice. some work out equipment was broken and unusable. Pillows were flat and sheets looked old, but were clean."

Overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Key card didn't work. Waited 15 min+ for someone to return to front desk. Carpet was covered w/dirt, the sheets were wrinkled (had they been used?) and the bed was hard. Woke up 2x to housekeeping pounding on my door, despite the ""do not disturb"" sign. Never came back to clean the room. The 2nd day, my key again didn't work; again had to wait 15-20 minutes for someone to show up. I definitely won't be staying there again!
