Convenient for Pueblo State Park. No option for a dividing wall in room. Hotel was basic, but ok and great value for money. Location was good - close to amenities and restaurants.

Am very allergic to cigarette smoke - requested a non-smoking room; however, the entire Budget 8 Motel reeked of cigarette smoke, including my room even though it had a ""Non-Smoking Room"" sign on it. Mentioned to front desk clerk and was told that the smoking rooms permeate the entire motel-which was true, even the lobby and all three floor hallways (had to use stairs as there is no elevator) smelled like a bar. Awoke with a terrible headache, sinus congestion, burning throat etc. and didn't even bother to take time to get a shower. Had to get out of there as quickly as possible!!!

Check in was fast. The entire place reeked of stale smoke and deodorizer. I paid for three nights and only stayed one due to the uncomfortable conditions.

The pool area was nice. The Lobby and hallways smelled of smoke very strongly. Very unpleasant!

Price. Smoking rooms next non-smoking rooms. Marginally adequate for price. Older, needs update in carpeting, better maintenance of facilities.

The room and bath were relatively clean. The continental breakfast was very meager. It was difficult to get to because of road construction. The doors closed very loudly regardless of how careful one tried to be. Therefore, throughout the night and in the early morning hours, one was awakened periodically by slamming doors.

Convenient location to all points of interest in Pueblo. Mattresses seemed un supportive. I think that for that for the cost of the motel it had it's value.
