The pool was small but nice for kids with nice windows overlooking the countryside. Even in the non-smoking rooms, there was a faint odor of smoke. There were no rollaway beds available. The rooms were some what outdated but quiet and reasonably clean. There was a really comfy chair and a nice desk space to use. The breakfast was adequate and nice for the price.

The rating was for the Princeton, Illinois site only...Princeton, August 2008 - When we arrived the handicap parking slots were both taken by family cars owned by the hotel manager. One had a placard, the other did not. One chair in the room the seat was soiled. No soap or shampoo in the room, had to go to the front desk and get it. No microwave as advertised. We travel a lot, I would probably not reserve at this hotel in the future. Hotel location was great, easy access to shopping and right off the interstate. It burns me when there is parking for handicap and you have hotel staff/or their family members using those slots. This is the second Super 8 we stayed at where this occured this year. In the future, I might call the police and have them ticketed for parking in handicap...there is a reason you get either handicap license plates or a handicap placard. These should be reserved for guests of the hotel.

This was a really nice motel, for being a economy motel. The room was clean and had a nice smell. The outside needs some work but they are working to get improvments done. They replaced all matresses while we were there and they finished putting on a new roof which was not noisy because they placed people in appropriate rooms to keep them away from the area where the work was being done. Granted this is not an elite motel but was very nice for the money. Would definitely recommend!!

This hotel was very clean and seemed luxurious. Nothing. This is an excellent place to stay. It's clean, close to the highway and quiet. I would say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was dirty and smelled like a toilet bowl. The staff was friendly and at snack/coffee area was clean and well stocked. However, the room was dirty. The recliner was stained with dirty as well as the desk chair. I would not sit in either one of them. So I sat on the bed and leaned against the wall headboard and I stuck to it which was disgusting. I did not use the pillows and slept on top of the blankets with my head at the bottom of the bed for fear of catching lice, scabies or something worse. The bathroom also smelled dirty. I had to use Lysol disinfecting wipes to clean the toilet. It was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The only positive thing was that the staff was nice. Also, the safety device on the window was a piece of wood to keep anyone from sliding the window open to break in.
