[...] was very friendly and had a number of good suggestions for local restaurants. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning had a lot of choices. This Super 8 should set the standard.

Clean room with amenities you don't expect at super 8. Outside door did not lock right, not very safe. My husband and I and our three kids stay here at least once a year. Our room has always been comfortable and clean and we love having the mini fridge and microwave in the room.

We were very surprised at how much this hotel has changed in just a year. Last year we were very pleased but not this time. The front desk staff was not friendly or very helpful. The beds were so hard, we actually thought about sleeping on the floor. The room was not as clean as it had been either. The hairdryer in the room barely worked & they declined to replace it. The coffee maker was horrible as well. We plan to return to Portales next year but we will be staying some place else.

It was clean, quiet, and fairly convenient to the rest of town. The staff was very helpful in finding some place to eat. Very friendly. The room was clean. Had trouble getting on line and there was a 24/7 hotline to call.

It was cleaner and nicer than I expected. Amenities were unexpected and very nice. The lamp and room lights were not very bright. Nicer than expected for a one star hotel.

Good mattress. Stinky hallway. It was advertised as having a pool on arrival there was no pool children very sad. No smoking room was good even though it was in the middle of the smoking hall.

I really liked the location because it is right off the highway and easy to find. The breakfast, and the morning person at the front desk. It has a great location right off the highway. The rooms are clean and have a microwave and refrigerator.
