The Thunderbird Motel was clean and cheap. Made for an affordable weekend of skiing/boarding at the nearby resorts. This is not the place to stay if you want the motel to add to your vacation experience (in a good way). If you need a clean place to lay your head and don't have much to spend, this is your place. The Four Star Family Restaurant next door is also affordable and good. I have two complaints. The first is that at check-in, I needed to add an additional person to the room. The clerk asked how much I would be willing to give him for the additional person. He made it clear that if I gave him cash ($5, $10, etc.) we would be good to go in adding the additional person. If charging, he would have to charge me the full $20. I just found this a bit of an odd request and made for a creepy check-in. Although the check-in staff was creepy, the woman that checked-me out was extermely helpful with directions and other helpful local hints. Very yin and yang with the staff. The other complaint is that although the cleaning staff came thru and replenished towels and shampoo supplies, they did not make up the beds. But again, you get what you paid for and this motel was servicable.

Best Super 8 we've ever stayed at. Quiet and clean. Dells are about 15-20 minutes away on interstate, easy trip if you want to avoid "tourist" prices. We saved * plus vs. rooms in the Dells. Will use again if in the area.

we spent new years at this hotel and expected it to be noisy and itwas actually very quiet! manager so helpful with directions. very very very friendly people will recommend to friends

It was inexpensive. It suited my purposes. It was further off 94 that I expected and it is really dark for driving.

About the only thingI enjoyed about this hotel was its location near the freeway. The room was always humid to the point of everything being wet, and it had nothing to make it homey.

The room was very nice for the price. I did see some hair in the bathtub. Overall, I thought this to be a better super 8.I associate Super 8s with unsavory clients and such (cheap and run down and usually the guests with bad habits and parties) Maybe Wyndham is cleaning up the rep but I was surprised that this super 8 was much better then expected. Super 8 is not my first choice. I guess it will depend on the town it is in and the area.

Free food. There was a fight on the floor and made noise all night. Things were ok except there was a guy that was making noise for about 3 hours then I had to make a police report because he kept everyone up for almost all night. Then the manager would not make it right. Very disappointed in the whole experience think they should have to give us a discount or a free room.

Very clean, quite. Nothing. Found this hotel to be even better than imagined for being rated one star. I would definitely stay there again. Everything was spotlessly clean and kept that way. An excellent value. One of the places Super 8 should be proud of.

It was close to Wisconsin dells and to Taco bell, KFC, Wal-mart. No elevator. We arrived late at night, the room was clean, and there was a breakfast included. It was not far from Wisconsin Dells where we went to the water park. I was happy with the hotel.

Easy access to highway, clean, friendly. Had to change rooms because ac not working in first. Nice little hotel with easy access to highway, Wal-Mart, places to eat and bars. Only problems we had were 1 ice machine for whole building and it broke down, ac in room stopped working and had to change rooms. Other then that it was a good place to stay.

Staff was friendly, room and lobby A+ clean! It is a bit off our travel route, but was worth the extra distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean and attractive for a 1 star hotel. Area is not far from Wisconsin Dells where there is tons to do, would definitely return!
