I booked this room in September of 2008 for June 2009 for my friend and I who participated in Bike to the Bay over that weekend. When I got to the hotel to check in, the person at the desk said that she was booked and only had a smoking room for us. I had requested non-smoking and asked her to accommodate this, but she could not. She blamed Orbitz for this error. We got to our room and it reeked of smoke. The room was somewhat clean, but nothing special. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was broken. We asked later when the shuttle was going to come back around, and we were told that there were no more shuttles after 5pm - this was a Saturday evening. For the price ($148.85), I really expected a much better stay. We were disappointed and will probably not book at Super 8 again.

Close to what we wanted to do. Need to update there rooms. It was over all clean but for the area it is in and what most people go to lake erie for they need to have public cleaning tables for fishermen to use.

Very clean, well kept hotel. It was a convenient location as we were at Camp Perry and touring the Lake Erie Islands.

The room smelled bad. The light in the bathroom quit working. The toilet seat was broke The sheets and pillow cases were so wrinkled that it was hard to tell if that were actually clean. Bathroom sink was dirty. Back of bathroom door was dirty. Staff at check in and check out were friendly. However, no receipt was given when I checked out.

Easy access to ferry boat and re-entry to highway home. Non-smoker, the rest of hotel, halls, lobby, and entry way smelled of rank old smoke. Parking lot was full when we return from dinner, parked away from hot.

Had a nice room that overlooked lake eerie. Did not clean our room. We ran out of wash rags and towels. Super 8, super great.

It was close to where we wanted to be at lake Erie. We liked everything! The front desk was very accommodating and moved my party to a 1st floor as my friend could not climb stairs.

Was very clean and friendly staff. Needs more for kids and shuttle to jet express. Just a nice clean place to shower and sleep.

Large bathroom. Television channel selections was very limited. Super 8 in Port Clinton. Ohio is a great stay if you are a business traveler. It would also make for a great stay for a fisherman due to its close proximity to Lake Erie. Don't expect great TV. The channels are quite limited!

It was very clean and neat. Needed one more chair in room. Had to keep moving one. This is a good motel to stay in if you don't want the frills but yet a clean and neat room. We just needed a room for the night. The price was a bit high for seniors but know that this is prime time in port clinton. Wish you could give seniors more of a break. We are all on fixed incomes and most of us can't afford the big hotel prices. Thank you for your help. Everything was just fine and worked out well.

Nicest place in Port Clinton. Economy Motel. The best place available in Port Clinton next to the ferry. One night stays allowed.

Short drive to where we were going. Pretty run down. Hotel was easy to find. Only about 15 minutes from Miller Ferry. Woke up at 6:30am the first morning to the fire alarm beeping. Told front desk at 9:00, they tried to replace battery, but it was still beeping when we returned at 4:00. It was hard wired in so they took it out.
