Ease of access. Good restaurant next door. Public spaces bordering on dreary. Poor breakfast buffet.

We decided to go to Port Angeles on a three day weekend and were happy to find Super 8. Even though it was full of high school kids at a tournament, the room was quiet and really inexpensive. It's clean, the front desk staff was helpful finding things to do in the area, and the housekeepers were very accommodating (extra shampoo, whee!). Only criticism was with breakfast. When they ran out of items (and they did quickly because of the high school invasion), they didn't restock so we didn't have much of a selection. Honestly, the price of the hotel outweighed this minor inconvenience. We'll go back again.

I'd been here before as well as a couple of other motels and hotels in the area. The summer months in Port Angeles are difficult to find rooms. I go to the Olympic Peninsula every other to hike and visit crescent lake and hurricane ridge. The Motel is very good value. It's more like a Hotel than a Motel. If you visit the city here you'll see what I mean. Motel's here really look run down and poorly maintained. They appeared to have gone under new ownership recently as the Lobby is renovated and so was the room I stayed in on the 2nd floor. I stayed on the side facing the main highway and didn't hear traffic. It's pretty quiet in this area at night. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had Satellite TV with HBO, NFL, Golf and the SPEED channel. The manager must really likes sports. I loved having the Golf channel to watch the US Open this past weekend. Yeah, I should have gone hiking like I went there for.. but it was Tiger man!! I woke up to breakfast with Hot make your own wafflesl. They had muffins, a variety of cereals, juices, oatmeal, milk and toast.

Room was stuffy and odor was impossible to overcome despite opened window.

Small room, beds were not very comfortable - but that may be personal taste. I would recommend this hotel to economy travelers for sure - it was pretty cheap to stay there - we have family where we were visiting so we knew we wouldn't really spend much time at the hotel - so for us it was perfect.

It was in a good location and found it easily. The room was not very clean and halls and other areas need a good cleaning. I would not recommend this motel to anyone else, mainly because of its lack of cleanliness.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the hotel. Rude manager, didn't follow through, insulting, no elevator to upper floors, horrible smoke smell, dirty. Bad. Extremely rude incompetent manager. He said we needed to call some number and that only non English Indian speaking people would answer. He said he'd call, but we needed to as well. Next day when I asked him if he called, he said, oh uh, they didn't answer. Then sharply asked me if I had called like I was supposed to. What!? Unbelievable and insulting. The hotel also had no elevator (three floors), a horrible smoke smell in the room, sheets, bathroom, etc. Plus the rooms were dirty, especially the bathroom. Get a tent if you need to, don't waste your money.

Easy to find. The towels weren't soft crunchy. It was nice stay only one thing the bed's comfortable wasn't comfortable it wasn't soft.

It was exactly what I expected for the price. No complaints. It was your average room with nothing special, though I was impressed by the art work, -not your everyday pastel colors. It was clean and everything was stocked. The stay was only for one night to catch the ferry to Victoria first thing in the morning and it served this purpose perfectly. I don't have high standards for a room that is just for sleeping in, so this one worked out great.

It was clean and the people were extremely friendly with a good breakfast. Nothing. The place was clean and the rooms were good sized. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The location was good and easy to find with many restaurants close by. The breakfast was good and was extended to about 10:00 which is unusual. My only minor complaint was that it wasn't a "cutesy" place.

The air conditioner worked well. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in, the people at front desk were not friendly at all. The bed was extremely uncomfortable; the sheets didn't stay on the bed when we slept. There was a big cut in the carpet in the middle of the floor. The people at the front desk were not friendly at all, and they kept changing our key code. For paying as much as we did, I really feel we were ripped off. I don't think we'll ever go into a super 8 again.

The parking lot. Noise from the street. Room smelled. I would not recommend this hotel to others. The room was not pleasing to the eyes, nose or ears.

This hotel, Port Angeles WA, was okay. The hotel in Victoria BC, Sanichton was not. Torn sheet, ran out of hot water, only one washcloth for two people, never replenished shampoo but added water to the little tiny bottle, stair rail was very loose. The location was next to a dumpy area.

It was clean and conveniently located. Room did not get cleaned. Overall this was an okay hotel for what I needed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were nice also.
