For a stay to visit LSU, the location is very convenient. There are fast food restauranst nearby, or you can easily get to eateries near campus or in nearby BAton Rouge. The breakfast buffet was disapponting. It was very limited. The room was clean and very comfortable. i got goo balue for my two day stay. I wish I'd brought my bathing suit.

Convenient, right off the interstate. The room smelled bad and the staff were inept. If you can get over the overwhelmingly musty smell in your room and can get by without any help from the staff, this is not a bad place for a quick over night stay when you are on the road. The staff argued with me, they didn't bother to give me any pertinent info like where my room was located or check out time, etc.

This Motel is Old, Dirty, the toilet kept running all night. There was this chair that looked like someone had given birth in it. I am trying to post the picture. I felt like something was crawling on me from the minute I got to the room. I called online travel website and they tried to get me my money back.

This hotel was in a great location right off of I-10. We were tired and wanted to just rest up! We checked in late around 1 am or so. Staff seemed a bit irritated but perhaps it was late. The room was in good condition and was clean but I would say the bathroom needed some renovation or further cleaning.

Location. Cleanliness. The hotel room and the hotel grounds were not clean. The hotel room had bugs in the bathroom, they were not alive, but they were bugs none the less. The parking lots, stairwells, and walkways were very dirty and nasty looking all that would be needed to fix that problem would be to have someone collect the trash that was on the ground, then pressure wash the concrete areas. The location of the hotel was great and the hotel lobby and breakfast area were very clean.

This Super 8 is right in the middle of the oil refinery district outside Baton Rouge. While the front desk staff was friendly and efficient, they certainly don't have much to work with here. The outside stairwells were filthy, with suspicious-looking plastic vials scattered among other trash. Cats were all over the parking lot, jumping up on cars and, no doubt, spraying the tires. The door to our room was dirty, the carpet stained and the smoke detector had been ripped off the wall. We found it behind the television. The walls had been poorly patched, and the patches weren't painted. The bedding seemed clean enough, but the overall impression of the hotel made me not want to touch anything. My daughter and son-in-law said the same about their room. I kept getting up during the night to look out the window and make sure our car and camper wasn't being broken into. Too bad I didn't look at the right time...someone ran into the back of our camper trailer and smashed in one corner, ripping off the taillight. Of course, they didn't leave a note...just left. I would NEVER stay here again, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else! Certainly not one of Super 8's better properties!

I decided to take a chance anyway. I am glad I did because i felt more comfortable there, the staff was very friendly, and the rooms were well kept. I definitly will stay at this Super 8 the next time i am in the area.

"This hotel was horrible!!!! The bathroom wasn't clean, the beds were hard and the mattress made noises when you moved. The clock didn't work properly and the room just had a bad old odor......"
